I am interested in the family history of my family & my husband's family.(I am originally from Adams,MN & he is from Hayfield, MN) We now live in New Ulm. Some family names are Hemingway, Lee, Hagen, Peterson,Aarhus, Gordon, Huseby,Torgerson,Lewison, Anderson, Johnson, Share

I first became interested in family history when I took a women's study class entitled "Our Foremothers". One assignment was to do an oral history with an older relative. Hearing the stories that my mom, my grandma & my husband's grandma had to share was priceless. The past became alive and names & dates became real people. I think my quest is bringing these stories and people to the younger generations that we will not lose this connection...and that our foremothers and forefathers will not be forgotten.
