Bio and Links
Bio Photo I spend part of my day every day working on genealogy. Got into cemeteries about 1993 and love it. I'm updating the Coweta County Georgia Cemetery book by taking pictures of all the tombstones in Coweta County and surrounding counties. Have a question call 770-304-9111.

===With Coweta having TWO New Hopes, Providences, Elims, Bethels, Bethlehems, Ebenezers, Holly Springs, Mt Gileads, Liberty Hills, Mt Carmels, St Marks, Wesley Chapels, =Mt Zion/Zion Hill, Tinch/Tench, Linch/Lynch, Calvary/Mt Calvary, FOUR Oak Grove/White Oak Groves, we see how new people can get discombobulated!

**Even the Social Security is holding back their Death Index's for 3 years now, the last year out is 2011. I don't feel as if I should help ID theives by putting birth dates after 1940 on the memorials. If this is your relative, then I'll transfer them to you and you can put the complete dates on them.***

******I HAVE COMPLETED TAKING PICTURES OF ALL STONES I COULD FIND IN ALL CEMETERIES IN COWETA EXCEPT: 4 churches whose grass was too tall and about 20 unknown cems I can't find. *****************

For those of you who do not know what cem in Coweta folks are buried in, you can ask someone to find which one.

If you would like a better pic, just email me.

Trying to list all the VETERANS who lived or died in Coweta Co GA in my virtual Cems.

Some of my scouts from Troop 47, First Baptist Church Newnan GA transcribed/took pictures of the some cemeteries. I will attempt to hurry up and put more pics on findagrave.

I am researching the following families: Couch, Brooks, Brown, Cannon, Delk, Drake, Ensley, Entrekin, Hubbard, Ivey, Loyd, Kimble, Kimball, Massey, Moore, Slaughter -- Beavers, Caldwell, Callaway, Chapman, Chappell, Cooper, Davis, Gresham, Harris, Hayes, Henderson, Henslee, Henson, Higgins, Hinton, Johnson, Jones, Kelley, Lawson, Lumpkin, McCullough, McMichael, Middlebrooks, Morgan, Neill, Nix, North, Pope, Quick, Rainwater, Reese, Spradlin, Story, Thompson, Todd, Ward, Williams, Wilson, & Wooton. all in Coweta County Georgia area in 1700-2014. RE: Concord Primitive Baptist Church
Any idea whom I should contact? There is no reason for these two cemeteries to be merged. They are two distinct and separate churches and congregations, in two different locations. Thanks!

RE: Lt Phi. ABBOTT Jr.
Thank you for your message. My question is about this page:
Have a good day.

Concord Primitive Baptist Church
Hi, Dianne,

I am so impressed with your work on the cemetery of this church! I visited there last weekend, and noticed something I thought I'd mention. The historic church, for which you've annoted the cemetery, is called the Concord Baptist Church. The sign you posted, for Concord Primitive Baptist Church, actually points down the gravel road to another, equally old church, but which is still in service and has a fairly new cinderblock building. I only know this because I met a nice lady while I was taking pictures of the old church, and she told me the Primitive Baptist is her church, and said I should go look at it too. I think these two churches have been mixed up here on Find A Grave and on several other sites as well.

Lt Phi. ABBOTT Jr.
Hello from France,

I just see your post in this web site for Lt ABBOTT jr. I don't know this document of him. I "know" well this hero because since 2003 I do searches about him and his crash. Since 2005 I'm in touch with his family.
Two questions:
* Are you of Ph. Abbott's family?
* Where have you find this document?
Sorry for my bad english.
Have a good day.

RE: Marchman transfers
Hi Diane,
I just realized that you had originally created some of these memorials, then transferred them to Sharon. Once she transfers them to me, her name no longer appears on the memorial; but your name remains as the creator. I now understand the process. Thanks for originally creating these memorials.

Marchman transfers
I appreciate you transferring these memorials to my care. I appreciate your hard work for findagrave and for honoring those that have gone before us.
