RE: Poth Cemetery
No, I grew up on the east side of San Antonio, with ancestral families in the area of New Braunfels, Marion, Cibolo, Schertz, Selma, etc. Some of these families spread to Wilson Co. I remember attending a 50th wedding anniversary in Poth as a child (maybe when I was 6) in about 1960 at the church grounds in Poth. But, I rarely make it to this area.

Amy Barton
I completed your photo request for Amy Barton. I noticed that you created a memorial for Albert P. Barton, without a death date. I did a cursory search and could not find that he died, but I will submit a request for the cemetery to confirm or disprove that Albert is in that space. Since you created the memorial I uploaded a photo of the marker with his name on it.

RE: John Fred Frels
Hello Frank,
I just read your message and checked the two memorial numbers. I entered the memorial number you created and I see the Find A Grave Editing Dept. has already "merged" the Memorial# 89635188 you created May 05, 2012 with the 2nd Memorial# 110037850 Matt created May 05, 2013. If you key in the memorial number you created (89635188) you see Find A Grave has "merged" the information in the Memorial you created with the 2nd Memorial# 110037850. Find A Grave merged information in the "Bio" area and they also saves both photos of the headstone.
If this is not satisfactory for you, or for Matt . . .please email Matt - or the Edit Dept. at Find A Grave to do any further revisions.
I found the email address for the Editing Dept at Find A Grave which is: edit@findagrave.com

Thank you very much for your time and work on this memorial and all the others you have created and maintain.

Best regards,
Elizabeth "Bitsy" (Gibson) Wagner & Chester Wagner

RE: Waytt Langley
Thanks. When I locate the correct town I will let you know. He was orphaned at an early age and lived with relatives until he ended the service. I do not know how he ended up in Texas or how he met Aunt Loys. He was a very quiet but good man.

Kenny Bierschenk
Bierschenks in Poth
Hello from Kenny Bierschenk--

I am trying to find out more about Nikolaus Bierschenk and his wife Wilhelmina Bierschenk who are buried in Poth.

I am related to a number of of Bierschenk families who came through New Braunfels and were landowners in both Comal and Bexar Counties -- I am trying to find out if there is a connection that I can discover to Nikolaus and Wilhelmina.

Do you have any info concerning where they came from in Germany?

thanks,

Kenny Bierschenk
