I have been doing genealogy for years, and like to take pictures of the graves and of the people in my file. I have had some med issues,so I can't get out to much to do what I love, looking and taking pictures of stones and walking around enjoying the peace of each Cemetery.|

No, he is no relation to me. I just had a copy of his obituary.

No problem, hopefully it contains some info you can use in your research. If you ever come across the reason for Edward Monroe's early death please let me know.

Here is the link to Janet (Hosker) Monroe's obituary. In the bottom left hand corner you can click to view pictures the family posted. Whoever picked out the photos did a good job outlining her life in 28 pictures. There are also pictures of Rayford Hosker ,and Helen Hosker (her parents) and Edward Monroe (her husband). You will be able to figure out who each one is easily enough. I think the other two guys in two of the photos must be her brothers mentioned in the obituary. I don't think you can view the pictures if you are using a mobile device you have to access it through your pc/ laptop. Hopefully this will give you some more info on this particular line.
Here is the link. Let me know if you have trouble with it and I can e-mail it to you direct.

I noticed you are maintaining the grave for Rayford and Helen Hosker the same grave for Edward Monroe. I have some information on this particular family. Oddly enough I did not know any of them directly, but Helen and Rayford's daughter was a classmate of my late mother's at both St. Mary's Girls HS and Salem State.( I verified this by looking at my late mother's yearbooks) I stumbled across the daughter's obituary randomly a few months ago and became interested in this particular family. There were some pictures posted with the daughter's obituary which gave me some insight into the family history. One of my questions is I am wondering what caused Edward Monroe's early death. I was wondering if you had any info on them at all? I did see on your profile you are maintaining a few other Hosker memorials.
Thanks for your time

Hi. Bernard (born 1904) was married to my uncles sister, Marion Smith Kelly. I knew his son Bernard my whole life - wonderful guy. If you are going to see the grave, and are standing on Lynnfield Street facing the cemetery, there are 3 main driveways (I think). You want the middle one, and the grave will be on your right about 50-100 feet in from Lynnfield Street and set back towards the middle of the section. It's under a couple of great trees. You can use whatever you need from the memorial and let me know if I can help you out with anything. If you have a memorial set up for Bernard's parents, I would be happy to connect him up.
