|I've enjoyed spending time in cemeteries since I was child. This site makes me happy to know that people are always remembering those that have come before us. I enjoy getting exercise and just generally being outdoors via walking the cemeteries. It's also great to help folks find their past through volunteer efforts. I often think of it as my good deed for the day. I generally have no connection to most of the postings I've created. My family are featured under my virtual cemeteries listings. My ancestors had the family names of Baker, Bauer, Creamer, Crisman, Edmond, Elgert, Everhart, Fandrei, Fisbeck, Gebhard, Hinzman, Jones, Kuhn, Kukuck, Millet, Riddle, Ridge, Roscrons, Schoen, Scott, Springer, Shoup, Streich, Von Gro, Wilde, Willert, Wolff. |
Please feel free to contact me if you have corrections, additions or would like a transfer. If you have a family connection, please feel free to contact me. If you are happy with my services as a volunteer, please leave flowers on one of my loved ones files in remembrance. Thanks!

In checking the Fairview Cemetery Records, Ward is noted as having been born 30 june 1886 and died 24 Aug 1888. Therefore the stone was inscribed with a mistake in the year. It may be the stone was made later. In any event, the Cemetery record is likely the accurate record of the date. Thank you.

Thank you for posting this gravesite. The latest photo, which is now legible, shows the death date of this little tyke as 1883, not 1888. He was just two years old. Please correct your entry when you have a chance.
|Evelyn DaLao||Johb Charles Leman|
I saw the photo and information on John Charles Leman and decided to contact you. I hope you don't mind. This person is my great grandfather's (James Lemon/Lemmon) brother. I have seen his grave marker and have been assured by direct descendants in that town that John Charles (J.C. Sr.) is in fact buried in the Oberlin Cemetery in Oberlin, Decatur County, Kansas as John C. Lemman. I am interested in the birth place stated in the Find A Grave site for John Charles Leman in the Rose Creek Cemetery. I have been trying to verify his birthplace as part of my Lemmon family genealogy. He mostly states Maine as his birth place but later on in life said he was born in Ireland. Ireland is listed as his birth place on his death certificate although that isn't definitive either. Just wondering where you obtained his birth place information. You can contact me at email@example.com
Thanks in advance!

My grandparents are Joel and Daisy Feitz. Could I also be in charge of their grave information? Thanks
