I started genealogy about 5 or 6 years ago. Surnames on my Mother's side include McDaniel, Bullock, Drew, Carpenter, Kinser, Bowman, Bowles, Hunt. Most of these families were in the Clay, Jackson, Owsley, Madison and Rockcastle County areas of Kentucky. On my Fathers side I am researching surnames of Gregory, Harlan, Green, Pate, Kidwell, Laswell. Alot of these families came up from Tennessee and settled in Monroe, Barren, Warren, and Butler counties of Kentucky. If you think we might be related, I'd love to hear from you!
