I live in Huntington, Indiana and have been doing genealogy for 40 years. I live about 17 miles from Fort Wayne, Indiana - the 2nd largest genealogy library in the US. I am willing to travel anywhere in Northern Indiana, Northwestern Ohio or South Eastern Michigan to take photographs. I am willing to E-Mail photographs to you or use the U.S. Postal System, whichever you prefer. |Tammy Tackett-Gillum||Maudie Parker Harrington Harris|
I've been talking to Maudie's granddaughter and she wanted me to add Maudie's first husband in her information as well. Can you add Homer Harrington as her first spouse and then Will Harris as her second, please and thank you. :)
|Katherine Parks||Lilli Hite's Grave|
Hi, I'm a descendant of Lilli Jane Couch Hite, and am very happy to find a picture of her grave! Do you know, is this description on the back of the headstone, where it mentions Jacob Hite as her husband? I just wanted to know for my records. Thanks! Katherine Couch Parks
|Lee Ashmore||Harriet Ann Hopkins Shorett|
I added her to John B. Hopkins list of children
Looking for the mother of my William Henry Hopkins 1838 NY-1911 IA. His father was John Hopkins born NY or Canada. Possible siblings of William Henry are Cyrus, Richard, John, Sarah, Elizabeth, Hetta.
He's buried in Odebolt Cemetery, Sac Co., IA. Other surnames are Adams, Moore, Haddox, Horton, Linville, Bryant, Sharp, Shea, Humbert.
Family lore says our line includes RI Gov. Stephen Hopkins 1707-1785 but have yet to prove so I research any and all Hopkins.
What are your lines?
In your travels, if you just happen to find any person's grave with the first, middle, maiden or surname Hopkins that is not already posted on findagrave I would love to know about it and have it posted with a photo. Now there's a project for you!
|Ludie||Barbara Loudenback Riggs|
Hello Annis. I hope you can help me with a puzzle I have on Memorial # 25093682 for Barbary Riggs date of birth April 4, 1811. There's a photo of the tombstone but dates are unreadable on it. Also on the memorial is link to her siblings including Elizabeth Retherford born Feb 25, 1811 Memorial #25946345. Does someone have actual record showing their births because I can't see both of them having been born 2 months apart.
Thanks for putting up the memorial. The Louderback & Riggs families are my grandson's maternal ancestor lines.

|bcw||Catherine Earhart parents|
I was surprised and pleased that you had identified Catherine Simon as being a daughter of Catherine Earhart. I am related through her sister, Sarah. Catherine (the mother) is a hero because moved to Indiana at such an elderly age. Most pleasing is that you have identified Catherine Earhart Simon's father as Peter Sr and her mothers maiden name as "Houser". These are two completely new pieces of information--Wow! Not doubting, but may I ask the source of this new information and do you have more info on other Houser family members? For us that live so far away from the areas of our ancestors, we so appreciate all this information and your interest.
