Mt. Nebo
You have James Orr d. 1884, placed in Mt. Nebo Cemetery but this cemetery was purchased and established as a cemetery in 1915. There are two other cemeteries in Grand Pass.

RE: Thomas Almonira Kelly fag# 87511848
I am not related. My information comes from “Fifty Years of Masonry in Porterville California …1890-1940, Porterville Lodge No,. 303 F. & A. M., John A. Milligan, Historian, Porterville, California, 1940.

Thomas Almonira Kelly is listed as a charter member of this lodge and on page 3: “Another of the original group was T. A. Kelly. He owned a tract of land west of Porterville where his home was for many years. He specialized in the raising of good horses, riding and driving stock. He had a driving track on the ranch for the training of his horses and where the horse racing in the early days was held. Once in a while Tom Kelly could be seen exercising his favorite saddle horse on Porterville’s Main Street. Some years before his death, which occurred April 3, 1905, he sold his farm and moved into town, living for a time on Putnam Avenue on the west bank of the Pioneer ditch and later on North Murry Avenue and for a time on his property on the corner of Gravilla Street and Morton Street“.

It appears that he married Frances Taylor Aug 1, 1865 in Tulare County and was born in Mississippi. Had 3 children, Clinton A, Henry, Estelle.

Evelyn M Winburn Jansen
Hi Michael:
I just noticed that you had a photo request in at Black Hills National Cemetery here in South Dakota for Evelyn.Jansen...

I sent the person that created her memorial the information he needed to verify that she was indeed laid to rest at BHNC and he also has her plot information as well...

Have a great and safe Labor Day week-end :=)

I created a memorial for a Theodoe Orr located at Jefferson Barracks . I came across the one you created with parents Elmer and Lena Orr. I believe it's the same person. If you are a relative I can transfer the one I have, it has a photo along with it.

Paul C. Lefer Headstone
Hi,
I just wanted to let you know I have posted the picture of Paul's grave and you will notice that the inscription on his headstone is very hard to read. I hope in time the cemetery will redo some of those headstones.
