I've been working on my family for about 15+ years now. I got started with it while entering my husband's family tree into FTM. An aunt of his had a pro do their tree in the early 70's - which makes me happy to have computers now! I've enjoyed meeting "new" cousins over the years and helping others find their "missing links". A huge heart sent Thank You to all who have already helped me and will help me in the future!

******* Update*******

Due to several rude responses from Memorial Collectors, I have had several friends transfer their memorials to me to manage. They can't take the stress of dealing with these collectors anymore. And, that's a shame.

So, following Find A Grave guidelines:

Transfers will only be made to those individuals within the 4 generation direct line - children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, parents, spouse, grandparents, and great-grandparents. When requesting a transfer, please explain your relation. Of course, exceptions are possible.

Please do not make a duplicate of a memorial. If you are in the direct line as stated above - request that the management of that memorial be sent to you. Then you can make all the corrections needed. If you are not in the direct line as stated above - please send me a correction request. Transfers and corrections will be made as soon as possible.

If a duplicate memorial is found and the owner is found to not be a direct line as stated above or the memorial was made AFTER a memorial that I "own"- I will request that the duplicate be removed. If it is not removed within a reasonable amount of time - the Find A Grave administration will be asked to remove it. It's very confusing to searchers to see duplicate memorials. And, it's disrespectful of the time and hard work for the original poster. I do my best to make sure I don't enter a duplicate memorial. I do make mistakes and enter duplicates at times. As soon as they are found- I quickly delete them.

I dislike having to go this direction, but it's needed action. I love walking cemeteries and taking photos. I love helping people with their genealogy.

Thank you for understanding.
