Hi live in Maryborough, Queensland, Australia. i have been doing research for about 10 years. I have written one book on my father's side of the family.|
I am writing my second family book, this time on my mother's side - Aulds, Bartles, Youngs and Briggs.
I am having a ball meeting different relatives via emails from all over the world. Also the great help I am getting from the people connected with Find A Grave.
I am at this moment putting Maryborough Cemetery and Lawn Cemetery on Find A Grave. So if any one wants any photos just send me an email.

Just checking in to say hi. Based on all the thank you notes here, it appears that you are keeping busy. Have you added any new projects recently?
|John Winterbotham||RE: Percy Cryan|
Percy is buried in the right plot but his name does not appear on the plaque for some reason.
Same thing happened to my Aunt who is in Lawn 1 with her parents/my grandparents but my cousin who was the executor and got most of her inheritance hasn't bothered to put her name on the plaque.
It's sad that they are not honoured in the way we'd love to have.
If he is a relative I'd check and find out what has gone wrong.
Good luck !!

Bne City council cemeteries are online so I use that to locate the graves and with the help of Qld BDMs I can find out their DOD and their parents names etc. I have maps of the all Plot numbers and there is only 11 sections with about 1500 graves in each. I'm keeping a database with who's in what grave and marking the one's that have plaques. I go out when I can and photo them plot by plot. I have all the monument plots finished and some of the ashes plots. The biggest problem is my crook back, the bending over to take the photo and I suffer when I come home. But oh well !! such is life.
Have a nice day.

I've only posted the grave to Gloria's grave as there is no mention of Percy on the Headstone.
You can cut & paste it to his grave if required.
Anymore Hemmant graves please let me know as it my intention to photograph the whole cemetery.
Have a lovely day

|Steve and Jina||James Caldwell Grave Stone|
I've added the photos you requested for James Caldwell. I almost couldn't verify it as the inscription was unreadable. Luckily his wife is buried there and her inscription is on the opposite, south side of the stone with James name listed as her husband. I was able to photo manipulate the stone to make his inscription readable.
There are Caldwell’s buried on each side. C.A. Caldwell and John H. Caldwell.
In a private email I attached the four photos I uploaded along with photos of the other two Caldwell’s in case that helps.
