Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi live in Maryborough, Queensland, Australia. I have been doing research since about 2000. I have written one book on my father's side of the family.
I am writing my second family book, this time on my mother's side - Aulds, Bartles, Youngs and Briggs.
I am having a ball meeting different relatives via emails from all over the world. Also the great help I am getting from the people connected with Find A Grave.

I am at this moment putting Maryborough Cemetery and Lawn Cemetery and most of the cemeteries connected with The Fraser Coast reginal council on Find A Grave. So if any one wants any photos just send me an email.

RE: Maryborough Cemetery
Hi Kay

Have changed the two memorials, but I didn,t put the Cemetery on, it was already there. If it doesn't exist, maybe it should be deleted.

Kind Regards

Val

RE: Maryborugh cemeteries
Dear Kay,

Thank you for your message - slowly (ever so slowly) - I have been going through my family tree trying to put a place/find a home where my family/family tree entries have been buried or cremated - laid to rest (still have a lot more to go through & joining "findagrave" website has helped me to degree) - However by this example of "Florence Alice KEARNEY & William Daniel KEARNEY" even though I have the Queensland Death Certificate of Florence Alice Kearney - where she was buried stated on her 'death certificate' - "Maryborough Garden of Rest Cemetery" - I did have a gander on the 'many' internet sites online - when I tried to locate where she was actually buried - (& found it daunting - & came to 'no' end - as per usual at the time - all I had was that written/stated on her Qld Death Certificate). I thank you for today sending me your message. Furthermore I noticed upon review of her file listed in your database/index (there are a few details - missing or simply you may be only able to write certain information in her file. Just letting you know - I have in my attainment all (3) of her Vital Records - Wales Birth Certificate (App No: 5566987-1; Reg No: WBXZ 460120; Birthplace: "Valley Farm" Wiston, Pembrokeshire, Wales) - Qld Marriage Certificate (Reg No: 1907/ 3094 451) - Qld Death Certificate (Reg No: 1968/ 97338; Place of Death: Brisbane Special Hospital - Brisbane, Qld. I don't know if you're able to add or edit any details you have in your database system - however if you're interested I can send you (PDF-Files) of all (3) of her historical certificates.

Leonard Adcock
Hi Kay, While at Lutwyche Cemetery the other day I had located Leonard Adcock grave. His grave doesn't have a headstone. Sadly they are still working on the three new Anzac portions.
I still took a photo of his grave and will upload the photo while waiting to see if they put a plaque down for him.
The ANZ-7,8 & 9 portions at Lutwyche Cemetery only have a handful of plaques down so far. Regards Carol

RE: Bain family
Hi Kay,
Well I expect you can see that we found the grave!! It is a lovely graveyard and HUGE - so extremely lucky to find it. Its a gorgeous very crisp sunny day and so took my husband and our grandson Haaron for extra eyes. It was Haaron who found the headstone first - getting him trained and he's only 8. Prize was the opportunity to climb in one of the enormous Yew trees followed by ice cream!!
I have taken a few other pics of the site so if you would like to see more of the positioning etc then let me have an e.mail address and I will willingly forward them to you.
Regards
Sarah
