I am a native Texan, born in Sealy Hospital, Santa Anna, Coleman County -- under the X in Texas.
I attended Whon School for my first 3 and ½ years, before my family moved to Coleman, where I finished grade school at West Ward, and graduated Coleman High School in 1946. I am a member of the Daughters of the Republic and am very proud of my Texas heritage.
