Bio

I am researching Durr, Badstuber, Schweder, Kordatsky/Kordetzki/Kordutzky, Casper Meyer and family of Cleveland, Ohio; Scoby/Scobie/Schoby, Mitchell, Davidson, Idle, Hufford of Miami, Shelby, Champaign and Logan Counties of Ohio; Schweder, Pearce and Radatz of Huron County, Michigan.

I am also researching several branches of my Mitchell family that migrated to Crawford County, Wisconsin (which I only discovered last year). My ggg grandfather Richard Mitchell's brothers John and Margerum Mitchell were early settlers in the Town of Utica. John stayed until his death while Margerum moved on to Minnesota. Their brother Benjamin had three sons (John P., Mahlon G. and Samuel B.) and one daughter (Mary Mitchell Steffy) who also migrated to Crawford County.

Lately, I have been researching the people and history of the small unincorporated village of Pheasant Branch in Dane County, Wisconsin, which existed from the 1840s until it was annexed by the City of Middleton in 1957.
