I have been interested in family history and genealogy for over 30 years now and I am always finding something new. I have walked many cemeteries with my wonderful husband [he actually takes most of my pictures] and I will try and get organized to start adding pictures to this website. The main surnames that I research are Newman, Neighbor, Whitmore, Reed, Burnham, McGown, Mullen, Kennedy, Parsons, Barnard and Williams.
I do not live in the area where I grew up [Linn County, Iowa] but have many digital pictures from the cemeteries in that part of the country. If someone needs a picture from any of my surnames please write and if I have the picture I will be more than happy to share it with you.
At the present time my husband and I live in East Texas.

Hi Marian,

I'm sorry that I don't have much info to help you. I live in Indiana but a long way from this cemetery. I get my info from cemetery transcripts that are posted online. I wonder if the word Mason referred to his occupation, I only enter what is on the transcript. You can go to his memorial page and click on Request a Photo, and there will be photo volunteers that take pictures which they will post to the memorial, then you can see the tombstone, if they have one. Lots of graves don't have a tombstone. I'm sorry that I don't have more to offer. Have a nice evening!

Fredericka Carstedt FAG # 80508234
Christian Frederick Carstedt
(1867 - 1967)
Find A Grave # 80508234
This is for Fredericka instead of Christian which I believe is her husband. So please verify the dates as hers and not his. As her stone give me 1871-1951. Do you know where he is buried? The 1920 census shows them as divorced. And 1930 shows her Widowed, Don't know which is correct and he could be buried at Grandview but it not on our records as they were lost. Thank you Florence

Hi Marian,

Sarah's request (I am guessing you pushed the wrong edit button since this is James D. Thrift's wife.
Please remove David Thrift {1794-1888] as a sibling of James Daniel Thrift. This David Thrift is the father of James Daniel Thrift.

Please remove Lydia J Thrift [1861-1872] as a sibling. Lydia J Thrift [1961-1872] is the daughter of James Daniel Thrift and Sarah Jane Brown Thrift.
Find A Grave just started showing siblings including that person who is on the page automatically., so anytime you link a child to the parent all of the siblings show up, the only way to unlink is to remove her as the child of James and Sarah. So Lydia is included as a sibling (notice when you are on her page her name is sort of grayish while the other siblings are purple,on her page. The same for Sarah. Does that make sense? I know it threw me off at first too. Rhonda

Dr Montreville Gaston Parker
I linked to his wife as requested, but the number you gave for mother is actually a child. Too many Catherine Parkers To find the correct one! Try again?
