Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been interested in family history and genealogy for over 30 years now and I am always finding something new. I have walked many cemeteries with my wonderful husband [he actually takes most of my pictures] and I will try and get organized to start adding pictures to this website. The main surnames that I research are Newman, Neighbor, Whitmore, Reed, Burnham, McGown, Mullen, Kennedy, Parsons, Barnard and Williams.
I do not live in the area where I grew up [Linn County, Iowa] but have many digital pictures from the cemeteries in that part of the country. If someone needs a picture from any of my surnames please write and if I have the picture I will be more than happy to share it with you.
At the present time my husband and I live in East Texas.

Loren Witt McCalister
Hi Marian,
If your sure you woiuldn't mind, yes, please transfer Loren's memorial to me. Thank you for managing it for my family. I'm just noticing your llast name. Are you and your husband from the Kansas Area?? I remember my parents talking a lot out some Parsons!! In face, I believe it was a couple named Parsons who introduced them! I was hoping you were a relative to Loren so I could connect you to my family.

Marian, Are you related to Mr. McCalister who is buried in McCune Cemetery? I would love to hear from you if you are and I also have a small correction to his memorial.

RE: Andrew J Mullen Memorial# 130842908
Hi Marian,

Thanks for the quick response! My father is Richard K Miles, his father was Forrest Calvert Miles, his parents were William Reuben Miles & Alice Irene Olive Mullen. Alice was the youngest daughter of Andrews Jackson Mullen & Martha Jane Purdum Mullen.

Can't wait to hear more from you. Thanks!!

Andrew J Mullen Memorial# 130842908
Hi Marian,
Andrew Jackson Mullen was my great great grandfather. I was thrilled to find the memorial you created for him here. I have been pulling my hair out regarding his parents. People are split between Patrick & Hannah Pruitt Mullen, and William & Olive Robertson Mullins. I cannot find any solid evidence for either set of parents. Do you have anything regarding Patrick & Hannah Mullen? I would really appreciate it.

Margaret McCune
I was just curious about my former art teacher, Margaret McCune....sure enough from McCune Kansas.
I believe Margaret (34669219) and her sister Marie are the daughters of Samuel Alexander McCune (#39502070), Not his siblings. Note the major difference in birth years. I found them in the 1920 census with their father Samuel Alexander McCune. Think the mother is Ada _____? Thanks for your work on Find A Grave. Carol Hays Freitas previously of Neodesha.

Hi Marian,

I'm sorry that I don't have much info to help you. I live in Indiana but a long way from this cemetery. I get my info from cemetery transcripts that are posted online. I wonder if the word Mason referred to his occupation, I only enter what is on the transcript. You can go to his memorial page and click on Request a Photo, and there will be photo volunteers that take pictures which they will post to the memorial, then you can see the tombstone, if they have one. Lots of graves don't have a tombstone. I'm sorry that I don't have more to offer. Have a nice evening!
