I was born in South Bend, and raised in New Carlisle, Indiana, with the last graduating class of 1968. I began my genealogy explorations in 1964, when my grandmother Zoe Thelma Freeland Boyer, received a family tree letter from my Great-Great Auntie Za Peeke Scott, from Spokane, Washington. It has been a fabulous ride since. Our family has been in the Michigan-Indiana area since 1834 coming from New York State. I now live near Wanatah, Indiana
