I am Dennis Boyer, Secretary, Arkansas Society, National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution. I am a volunteer working on updates of the SAR Patriot Index, now available on line at http://patriot.sar.org. William Talley, Sr., is among my assignees, and I have located your photo at his memorial. We anticipate eventually being able to include photos, where available, with the Patriot's listing, so I am asking your permission to download and prepare for posting your photo.
Thanks for your good work.

|Ken Jones||Rev. Joseph Walker|
FYI Joseph Walker was born 14 February 1787 and died 28 February 1870. This is information from Baptist sources, but the year of birth is questionable(but within a year or two, I believe.) The church he served in Chadd's Ford is the Brandywine Baptist Church. This is information I've come across researching his brother-in-law, my ggg grandfather William G. Jones, who married Rachel Walker. Thanks for posting the information and photo of the stone.

|James L Rice||Jacob Indian|
Hi Lar, There is a book of monumental inscriptions of Herrington Churchyard at West Herrington, formerly St Cuthberts but the burials for St Aidens are also in this cemetery. The NDFHS publish this book and is still available http://www.ndfhs.net/Sales/prices/NI_43.html .
The book contains all the LEGIBLE inscriptions in 2001-2 but cannot find Jacob Indian so it is unlikely that his gravestone exists. There are a few other Indians listed as buried there....
Thomas Stanley Indian (d 1958)& wife Isabella (d 1978), William Indian (d1964), John Christopher Indian (d1961) & wife Henrietta (d 1964). These gravestones may still be there and maybe other relatives. If you would like further details or photos please email me

Hoping to use the pic you took in my family tree which is a public tree, the stone also has her husband oliver s crout they are in Fernwood Cemetery..I believe that Emma's maiden name was Shireman but stress I am still trying to make sure..My Grt Grandfather Richard Hamilton left per his Will in 1912 $1000 to Emma crout and she lived with them when she was 17 yrs of age in 1870 in Phila Pa..Richard also owned a farm in Dauphin Co Pa and rented it to isaac newton shireman per his Est record in his will..Isaac had a sister named Emma and their mothers maiden name was Bucher which was the family name of Richards wife Mary "Annie" Hess Bucher Hamiton...sorry so long but I dont know if you are related to the Crouts and might have more info to share as I would be very grateful to know of
Thanks so much and Happy Holidays
