I am in Michigan. I am not related to 99.999% of my entries, but have added them with the hope that other researchers who have come to a dead end may be helped. With respect to those entries, I have no other information available as I have tried to include as much info as I have.
PROCEDURES FOR LINKS, ADDING OR CHANGING INFO, TRANSFERS:
Please do not be offended, but for a number of reasons, including the volume of requests, I transfer memorials in accordance with Find A Grave's published guidelines. If you request a transfer, please be sure to include your relationship to the person who is the subject of the memorial. I cannot respond to transfer requests for all memorials with the same surname in a cemetery or to requests for a large number of memorials with the same surname.
If there are entries which need to be linked, please send the info to me via the correction/EDIT option or Suggest a Change (SAC) in the upper right corner and I will add the links. Also, if you would like me to add information to a memorial, please forward the relevant info via the SAC option for the quickest response.
If there is information in a memorial concerning a living person which you would like removed, please send me a request via the SAC option.
PLEASE DO NOT send transfer requests, relationship links or additional information for memorials via the public messages option. I do not make changes sent to my profile page. PLEASE USE THE EDIT TAB LOCATED IN THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER OF THE MEMORIAL.
OBITUARIES: Find A Grave has updated its policy concerning the use of obituaries in memorials (See: "Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?" under the Frequently Asked Questions section). If you send a request asking that an obituary be added, please be sure to confirm in your message that you have complied with the policy or I will not be able to add it.
Generally, I do not link to unknown burials. Nor do I add raw US Census or similar records, preferring instead to add information in sentences.
Many thanks for the kind notes, thank yous, flowers and tokens which are left on the memorials. It is rewarding to know that my work has helped someone.
Thank you....AGAIN!!!....for your kindness, knowledge and help! I wish everyone were even half as helpful and kind as you are! I sincerely appreciate everything you do! I think you're pretty amazing! Thanks! Janet
Desire Barras 161035242 I found this gentlemen's death certificate in Missouri. I could not find him on find a grave so I made a memorial for him. I have no information about his family or where he was buried so I searched his surname in the area where his death certificate said he was going to be buried. Your profile has created several of the memorials with his surname. I am curious if I could turn this memorial over to you for further research? I am not familiar at all with Michigan or any of the states counties surnames etc... When I search him I can only find a few excerpts from a book where his name was mentioned. I would love for him to be connected with his family and placed where he belongs. Thank you for taking the time to read this :)
