I got into genealogy through my husband's grandmother Wagner back in late 1970's. That was back when everything we had was on paper! I now have all my family group sheets in the computer, but I still have some letters that possess information that needs transferred to the computer. It's just so exciting to dig into the online records and the papers are patiently waiting! I really enjoy visiting the old courthouses to do research and then tromping through cemeteries in search of relative's burial sites. Our 4 sons are all through college now and settled into their separate lives. I retired in 2015 and yet there still is never enough time to devote to genealogy and kinology! I look forward to those moments of discovering & sharing with our newly found distant cousins.
