I question the parents: Archibald Shaw and Sarah Hill. They may well be related?
s)Auglaize Co Democrat, Aug 17, 1911
Historical Sketch of Shaw family.
The Shaw Family which constitutes a fairly large percentage of the inhabitants of Duchouquet and surrounding twps, is one whose early tradition and history seems to have been neglected to a great extent, as has been learned they date back to the MacDuffs of Scotland, from whom they are said to descend. It begins with the MacDuff of Shakesperian family, who aided Malcom III, the rightful heir to the Scotish throne, in overthrowing Macbeth in 1056. Malcom in return for his services grated many privileges to MacDuff and his heirs.
As to the representatives of the families we have here assembled today the entry of their fore-parents of a later date the exact date of which cannot be determined, but two brothers, Neal and William, with a sister SARAH, emigrated from Scotland and settled in Farquier Co, Culpepper C.H., VA, late in 1700's, along in the early part of 1800's.

The information I have on Neal Shaw of Auglaize Co, OH tells me that his mother's name was Betty Tharp.

Hi Bev.. I'm sorry I can't help you with this issue as I no longer manage her memorial. You will have to contact Jan Sanford, the name/link listed above mine as the person who maintains this memorial.
The parental links must have been entered after I tranfered it because the cemetery record that I copied the initial information from clearly states Elisabeth as the 'wife of Jacob'.. Her parents are not listed on this record.

Hi Bev, are you related? My husband's 101 year old mother passed away on January 25, today while looking through some things he found two copies of a "family tree" Just names and birth dates starting with William and Nancy (Cassell) Graham.
William was also married to Catherine - unknown maiden name.
His mother was the daughter of Laura Etta (Graham) Stigleman, and Laura was a daughter of James, son of William... It was written by a cousin of Laura's. We don't know when but the cousin, Clara passed away in the 70's.
I have been working on his side for six years and this was a great find! I knew a lot but his mother never talked about some things...
If you are related, I will send you a copy if you want it?

Thank you so much for the photo. He was lost to the family from 1910 until this request was placed. It means so much to have a photo of his grave.
