Coming across all the forgotten and unclaimed people who ended up in the potters field was hard for me, so I created memorials for them. You finding him and linking him means in some way, he was remembered. Thank you.

Are you related to Henry Simms? would you like me to transfer him to you?

Thanks for the information. For what its worth the obituary in the December 17 2006 The Denver Post states that "In 1954, the school at 9955 Yarrow St was named the Henry J. Juchem School for Billie's father." ??

Thanks you so much for the information. I will put a flashlight in my bag. Sometimes we work so hard finding their grave sites and want the best picture we can get and are so disappointed when the grave stone is so hard to read. Thanks again Nancy. Kay

See my previous message. Memorial # 43412546. Thanks.
|Stacie Peecher||Sarah (Kelley) Rigg|
Hi, Nancy. Sarah Kelley Rigg's (in the Kelley Cemetery, Sangamon County, Illinois) husband, Ewell, is mentioned as moving to McComb, Illinois after her death. The correct spelling for the town is Macomb. Thanks for all of your work. It's appreciated! Stacie

I don't know where you are getting this "hero" stuff? If I run across data, i.e. memorials that aren't on Find A Grave. I just take the few minutes to enter them. Somebody somewhere is looking for that memorial that I just entered. And I certainly appreciate all the memorials that others have posted that I have been looking for, they just happened to find them before I did. Thanks for the compliment though, it means alot to me, seriously. I also noticed on your profile that we do have several surnames in common.

|Jen||George Robison, Oakridge Cemetery|
Hi Nancy. George Robison is my husband's 3rd great grandfather. Over the past couple of years, we have done extensive genealogy research for his family. In late July, we drove from Michigan to Springfield to find his grave, with only a general idea of where it was. Finding no marker, we spoke with the cemetery office and they verified that we were looking in the right place. As soon as we do a little more research to verify that he is indeed buried in this location, we are having a marker put there.
Do you know where his wife, Harriet Olivia (Littrell) Robison, is buried? We have requested her death record from Tillman County, Oklahoma and have not heard back yet. Per Oakridge Cemetery records, she is not buried with George. She died in 1926, with him preceding her in 1907, so I'm not sure if she remarried. I am very interested to find out where she is buried, perhaps get her obituary. Please let me know if you have any of this information. I will let you know when we have a marker placed on his grave. I don't expect it to be a very quick process.

You are very welcome. I have several hundred additional photos to process for posting. If I find additional Simms Family markers, I'll let you know about them too.
