Bio

Avid (and addicted) genealogist!! Many thanks to Find-A-Grave and all of the wonderful angels that populate this website. They unite us researchers with cemetery photographers. The combination is dynamite!

If you suggest an edit to a memorial that I manage, please include documentation to support the suggestion. It is my pleasure to update memorials with accurate information and links.

Alas, many errors are perpetuated by well-meaning family researchers who rely on work done by others. Sometimes this work is well-documented and accurate. Sometimes the information is unsubstantiated or pure conjecture. Information found posted on family trees needs to be thoroughly documented - family trees alone are not a valid source. Thank you for understanding. It's important to link folks to their real family members, thus reuniting relatives across time and space.

My forte is research, with a focus on Arvada, Colorado. As I find info, I submit it to update memorials and gladly provide documentation.

Sometimes, memorial managers assume that I have a relationship and transfer memorials to me willy-nilly. So, I have become the unwitting manager of many memorials for unrelated, unknown folks. It would be my pleasure to put these memorials in the hands of a relative who will update them and provide tender, loving care.

Researching:
Arvada, Colorado (Including Ralston, Grant Precinct, and related place names)
Sims/Simms (SC 1784 to KY to IL to NE to CO)
Chilson (RI? to MA to NY to IL to KS to NE to CO)
Potter (CT to NY to OH to IL)
Kinkel (GERM to US Phila? to CO)
Robinson (IRE to US WI? to CO)
Jones (DE 1768 to WVA to KY to IL to NE)
Young (NJ 1797 to NY to WI)
and associated families: Sweeney, Rantala, Cobb, Haffey, Fessenden, Perrigo, Welch, Griffin, Blessing, Blakeslee, Feisel/Phisal, Castle and many more!
