Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a native and lifelong resident of California and reside in beautiful Sonoma County. I have a strong interest in history and genealogy and, with the help of FINDAGRAVE recently located a number of stones of direct ancestors in New England. While there, I took many photos and would like to share with anyone who is interested.
Since then, I have added a few more.

Barry Michie
Charles Hightree Memorial
Dear Eric:

Thanks so much for the edits to the Charles Hightree memorial. Very much appreciated.

Just went onto your profile and see you live in beautiful Sonoma County. I was Santa Rosa born and bred and know just about every nook and cranny of the county ... but find myself living in Manhattan, Kansas, for the past 37 years where my wife and I are retired from Kansas State University. Manhattan is much the way Santa Rosa was when I was growing up - and now much changed, of course.

William Lyon gravestone photo
May I have your permission to download the photo of the gravestone of Capt. William Lyon (Memorial# 65960170)?
I would like to upload it into my Ancestry family tree.
Thank you for your consideration.

Thank you for posting my 7th-great-grandmother at Find A Grave Memorial# 7376053. May I use your photo on my family site at Ancestry? I would, of course, credit your work.

Thanks for considering my request.

Capt
your photos are wonderful!
I was updating some photos at a local cemetery while looking to fill a photo request and have found your handiwork with many of the headstones. I have to say you are doing an excellent job! how do you do it? I thought I was getting some good shots with the light but they don't compare one bit to yours. What s/w package or filters are you using? I really like to be able to capture the old headstones that are deteriorating before it's to late so I'm hoping you will share you techniques. What kind of camera, megapixels? Please share! Your photos are awesome! Thanks in advance for any insights!
