Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a native and lifelong resident of California and reside in beautiful Sonoma County. I have a strong interest in history and genealogy and, with the help of FINDAGRAVE recently located a number of stones of direct ancestors in New England. While there, I took many photos and would like to share with anyone who is interested.
Since then, I have added a few more.

RE: Nancy Jane Crane #72517929
Hi Eric, I found filing of their divorce and posted it to Nancy's memorial until the edit is done for both of the parents I sent, then I will remove it. Do you know if the Charles L. Patton Ranch Cemetery has anything to do with this family ? I also linked the parents to Nancy. Thanks for the update, Eileen

RE: Nancy Jane Crane #72517929
This morning I found all the children of Richard Crane and Nancy Jane Patton and either linked or sent links and vital updates. I mention this so that you are not doing double duty in researching.

The only family I find in 1850 with a Nancy J. (transcribed incorrectly P.) her parents would be Joseph and Elizabeth but I find Nancy still with them in 1860. Since she married in 1853 that doesn't work. In your research did you find names for her parents? Thanks, Eileen

Wow, you posted a photo.... today?
Take any other photos in Bloomfield?
I was out there several times in the last few years looking for the last unphotographed headstones.

Sarah Locker death date
I checked my source and the date is January 4, 1865, according to the January 10, 1865, issue of the Daily Alta Californian, page 5, column 2.

"At Woodside, San Mateo County, Jan 4th, of consumption, Mrs. Sarah Locker, aged 71 years and 11 months."

A number of graves are accidentally noted with incorrect dates either by the informant or the engraver. My grandmother Died in December 28, 1958 but her gravestone reads December 28, 1959 because she was laid to rest in 1959.

Thanks for all your work in posting memorials.

Hi! Eric,
You posted a photo on 13 July 2014. Do you recall when you actually took this picture? The marker is very pronounced easy to read. The other photo posted in 2010 shows a very worn inscription. It appears that you may have taken this photo before 2010. I'd like to know if my observation is correct or if I'm way off. Thank you for your time & assistance. Have a nice Easter.
