Bio and Links
Bio Photo I lived in Central Oregon and have been involved in genealogy for over 32 years. I have submitted the LaPine Community Cem. and the Columbia Pioneer Cemetery in Portland, and just recently submitted many photos of the stones @ LaPush and Quillayute cemeteries @ Quillayute, Washington. My health isn't good so can't do photos any longer.
Sincerely;

Roland R. Wilkinson 46926691

Columbia Masonic Cemetery Multnomha County
Hello. One of my ancestors in buried in the Columbia Masonic Cemetery in Portland. I'm assuming you are the admin for the cemetery find a grave page? I stopped by a few days ago and was surprised to find homeless people living in and around the cemetery. There was garbage strewn through out, people using headstones as pillows and most disturbing, there were heroine needles, spoons, and garbage in several areas of the cemetery. Maybe you might want to put a word of caution on the description page so people know that they need to be careful where they are walking etc.
on a plus I was happy to see that this place is still being mowed and that the headstones are in such great condition!

Thank you!
Nicole

RE: William Howard Withrow
Thank you for the great information on your ancestors. I found the connection. It is Robert John Withrow (1692-1741) and wife Janett May (1686 - 1727).

Robert John Withrow (1692 - 1741)
4th great-grandfather
James Withrow (1721 - 1819)
Jonathon G. Withrow (1770 - 1850)
Jonathan A Withrow (1815 - 1889)
James W Withrow (1873 - 1948)
William Howard Withrow (1898 - 1979)
Thomas Willard Withrow Sr

It appears that there has been a lot of well documented research on the Withrow family. It will really help with the tree on Ancestry.com.

I don't have your grandfather on my tree. Who were his parents and grandparents? Want to make that connection. My children are very interested in their heritage.

Adam Withrow edit request
Thanks for the added information; I'll be glad to approve the request.

I am not related to Adam. I was taking some photos at the cemetery a while back and came across his gravestone which presented a bit of a challenge, since his name is not on it. After a bit of detective work, I figured out that it was him & created the memorial, but if you are related I would be happy to transfer him to you.
