Indeed it is a small world. I wish I could have been there when you were as I know we would have so much to talk about. Take care

Nettie Dimond
Hi,
You sent an edit on Nettie. It all looks fine except for her last name you suggested.
Her first husband was Burlingame. Her second husband was Dimond.
Did you know if you put her name on Find A Grave as Burlingame Dimond nobody will find her if they do a search for her.
If they searched for her as Dimond they would not find her.
If they searched for her as Burlingame they would not find her.
If they searched for her as Bunlingame Dimond she would THEN come up. Somebody would have to search for her as Burlingame Dimond or she would not come up and who on earth would ever think to search for her under the name being entered that way???
When she remarried to Mr. Dimond she was no longer a Burlingame. She was then legally a Dimond.
I am sure it is nice to want somebody remembered for what their name used to be but doing it that way makes things a whole lot more complicated in cyber space.
What do you think about the problem? Am I "full of Hooey"?! Do you really want to do that, put her name on Find A Grave that way? I would think it would be better to make 2 different pages for her one as last name of Burlingame and one page as it is, with the last name of Dimond like it is on her gravestone. The gravestone does not say her last name is Burlingame Dimond.
If she had two pages then somebody would find her either way they searched for her, either as Dimond or Burlingame.

RE: Anderson @ Columbia Masonic Cem.
Roland,

I really appreciate you offering to do research. My current focus is on Alexander Anderson, died in Multnomah County Oregon, I believe I sent you a direct email a few months back with all of the details. If you didn't receive that, please let me know, it had all of the details.

Thank You,

Brian Foss

Nettie B. Henderson Dimond
Hi,
I added your suggestion for edit to Nettie's page.
I checked the Oregonian and found an obit for her. It downloads as a full page from the newspaper, in pdf format and her obit is on the page. The page has the date of the paper and page number and all that stuff on it. I can email you the page if you want it, ok?

Roland,

I wish time offered me more time to research and I can't recall if I replied to this. I wanted to make sure I said thank you for the time you take to do research.

Hi, Roland. I found this photo that was left on one of mine for Lon I Withrow. Looks like these are the same. Could Erving be Irving? Hope you are well.

Roland,

You have a death date but burial unknown for him. Wondering the source of your death date info on him. I'm also after info on his wife as I can't find her after the 1910 census, living with her son Harvey.

Thanks,
Jim

Change record
Hello Roland!

I am a descendant of William Ingram Taylor and Lucina Taylor who are buried in the Columbia Pioneer cemetery. I would appreciate it if you would transfer them me.

Also, could you please change the place of birth from Virginia to England? In the sources I have, census and Land claim documents, he states he was born in England.

Thank you,
Joyce Johnson
