Bio

I was born May 1st, 1933 in the Powell Knitting Mill Community, part of Spartanburg, SC Today.
My father was born in Cherokee Co, SC and my mother in Polk Co, NC, they were married in Spartanburg, SC. My father's father was born in McDowell Co, NC.
My family moved to California when I was 2 weeks old. We stayed a year then moved back to SC.
We moved back to CA to stay in 1936. We lived near and in Dinuba, CA during my grade school years, then moved to a little farm near Kingaburg, CA for my high school years.
I enlisted in the US Air Force in 1951 and retired after 20 years in 1971.
I lost my bride of 57 years last year and now live with one of my daughter in Fresno, CA.
Geneolagy keeps me going.
