I honestly don't know when I became interested in my family's history. I have always considered my family and it's history important since a very young age. I developed an interest in it after seeing our Foord family ancestry file (which I have just started getting the info into a family tree program!) that was compiled by a cousin in the 1930's and 40's that had 20+ charts totaling over 7,000 people at the time. I shutter to think how many there are now! Our most significant ancestor was the "Widdo Foord" who landed in Massachusetts with her children after arriving on the ship "Fortune" the month of the first Thanksgiving.

I've since found out we are also definitely related to the William Bull and Sarah Wells Family of Orange County, NY who built the "Bull House Stone House", now listed on the register of historic places.

On another tree, an aunt discovered we are descended from immigrants who immigrated on the ship "Dragon" in 1732 and who later had a descendants that fought in the Revolutionary War.

My family has never been famous (as far as I know of), they are just ordinary people, but to me they're special. Some have turned out to be very intelligent, some very ordinary, some were hard workers and some less so. Basically a normal family, if there really is such a thing. If you are interested in genealogy and think you might be related, please feel free contact me for further info.

These are the names I'm researching. New names will be added as the trees grow. Check back regularly for updates.

Buell / Bull, Learmont, Cooper, Babcock, Foord/Ford, Aldrich, Dannells, Vilsmeyer, Blauvelt, Bailey. Mason, Flynn, Byerly, Stone, Wardlaw, Reed, Kintner, Conrad, Coalter, Cauley, Price, Cooper / (Kuphers), Jenkins, Frank
