I was born in 1951, in Phoenix, AZ. I have been researching my family history since 1971. I have ten children and 22 grandchildren. We now live in Mesa, AZ.|
I've always loved cemeteries! There is such wonderful information on this website. I would be glad to help someone else in their search.
While researching some of my family history on this site, I found that someone had taken the time to add photos of obituaries to many of my relatives' memorials. This thoughtful act touched me. I have decided that to repay their kindness - I tried adding memorials for those found in online obituaries for the Arizona Republic, The East Valley Tribune, and the Apache Junction Gold Canyon News, but soon discovered that someone else was duplicating my entries! I then went to a nearby cemetery and took photos of some name plates and created memorials for them. I hope to continue to add memorials to this site.
If you are related to someone whose memorial I have created - I will be happy to transfer it to you - just let me know. If you find any error or omission in a memorial which I have entered, use the edit tab or contact me! Since I may only have had the obituary or the gravestone to go by, many times I do not have all of the information. If you have further information to add to a memorial, I will be happy to make changes.

The memorials have been entered. I will return to Oakland next week to see if I can find the others. I have also updated their other sons, Graham and Henry Jr. to be linked to their parents. So, it is 4 sons in all. I got their information from the website, Family Search so I have entered the information accordingly. Thanks,

You are so welcome and thank you for the compliment. I also found Henry's son, Claude and Claude's wife, Theresa. I will do a memorial on both of them, unless you want too. Anyway, I have a pic for both of them but I didn't find Hattie, Henry's wife. I'll have to go back and take my time looking. It was a pleasure. Please enjoy and please utilize the photo as you see fit. Have a great weekend.

If you don't already have this info, the infant sons of Grover and Bertha Carpenter were:
Thelbert Cleveland - borndied 23Aug1918
Albert Leon - borndied 16Jun1920.
It doesn't appear that they were twins.

Martha Irene Wilson 1900-1916 #144679384 was buried next to Robert and had the same type of marker so I thought that she might be his sister.

|hannahc||Blanche Fretz Ritter|
Hello, my name is Hannah Cuellar. Blanche Ritter is my great grandmother on my mothers side. Her first husband's name was Charles Boyles who passed in Pennsylvania in 1945. Her son, my grandfather, is Joel Lee Boyles. She met her second husband, Raymond Ritter, either in Pennsylvania or Arizona. Not sure. What I am about is that her name was never Fretz.
Her maiden name was Hunsberger. Not sure where Fretz came from, but all the other info you have is correct(8 July 1912 to Feb 1985). I have never been able to figure out her date of passing. I know that her obituary was printed in paper on Feb 19th. So within a week prior.
Would you remove Fretz from her grave page? What do you need from me to do so?
Thank you so much. Hannah C.

If Donald is a family member I'd be happy to transfer his Find A Grave memorial to you. I am not a family member. Thank you. Candie Rogers

You are most welcome. There were flowers in the urn but I had to remove it as the flowers were casting shadows.

You're welcome. The mortuary list McBride, Darnell, and Alfred as names associated with Eva. That should give you a start in figuring out who she was. York county also has a large index of marriages listed on Family Search.
