I was born in 1951, in Phoenix, AZ. I have been researching my family history since 1971. I have ten children and 22 grandchildren. We now live in Mesa, AZ.|
I've always loved cemeteries! There is such wonderful information on this website. I would be glad to help someone else in their search.
While researching some of my family history on this site, I found that someone had taken the time to add photos of obituaries to many of my relatives' memorials. This thoughtful act touched me. I have decided that to repay their kindness - I tried adding memorials for those found in online obituaries for the Arizona Republic, The East Valley Tribune, and the Apache Junction Gold Canyon News, but soon discovered that someone else was duplicating my entries! I then went to a nearby cemetery and took photos of some name plates and created memorials for them. I hope to continue to add memorials to this site.
If you are related to someone whose memorial I have created - I will be happy to transfer it to you - just let me know. If you find any error or omission in a memorial which I have entered, use the edit tab or contact me! Since I may only have had the obituary or the gravestone to go by, many times I do not have all of the information. If you have further information to add to a memorial, I will be happy to make changes.

Hi again, I just added the photos. I like for family to make them if possible . When I find them and no one says anything I will make a memorial. Wayne actually found the Carters and took the photo of the babies too. Best Wishes, Connie

Hi again, buried next to Julia and Stephen Carter are two children not listed with them. They are on one stone, Lloyd S. and Sarah S. we took a photo of the stone and I added the double pic to Stephan's Memorial. There are no dates. If you would like to make memorials for them I will add the photo.It says Children of S.K. and J. Carter. Thanks, Connie

|V.Usunier||Chester Ralph Headstone Riverside Cemetery, Neepawa, MB, CAN|
Hi Claudia, I have added the headstone for you. Welcome to use wherever you like.
Possibly for him:
Manitoba Vital Stats Birth Info Reg #1886-002427
this could possibly be Chester Born: 06 June 1886
Mother is Margaret McLean
on the Town of Neepawa Cemetery Database, there is a Margaret Ralph Interment Date 15 Dec 1929 and a John Ralph interment 09 Feb 1905 Maybe they are Chester's parents?
John & Margaret Ralph are also buried in Neepawa, MB
|S. F. Evans||Lamont Koontz|
Regarding your request for a photo of this grave in Spring Hill Cemetery in Cabell County, WV and a missing infant. There is no death record for a Lamont Koontz. There is a death record for an unnamed male Koontz that died on April 13th. The death was recorded by the physician and no parents names given. The cemetery can give you a burial date and maybe who else is in the plot if it is a family plot. Best of luck with your search.

Thanks Claudia....the photo is indeed a treasure and I had not seen it. I was able to browse the info on Family Search. I have seen the Cyrus Young diaries and they are fascinating. Several mentions of my family. I have visited the Highland area several times and the cemetery there where so so many of the Young's are found (and Tabitha too. Thanks again for the info!!! Priceless!!!

I found this newspaper article in the Winnipeg Tribune dated July 27,1940. http://manitobia.ca/content/en/newspapers/WPT/1940/07/27/articles/206.xml/iarchives?query=chester%2BAND%2Bralph%2BAND%2Bdoctype%3Anewspapers

Chester Ralph's grave was our favorite grave search. We calculated and marched off where the grave should be. I stuck a knife thru the sod which had totally grown over and I hit a grave. We did not know at this point if it was Ralph's grave until I removed a 3 inch thick piece of sod.
