I was born in 1951, in Phoenix, AZ. I have been researching my family history since 1971. I have ten children and 20 grandchildren. We now live in Mesa, AZ.|
I've always loved cemeteries! There is such wonderful information on this website. I would be glad to help someone else in their search.
While researching some of my family history on this site, I found that someone had taken the time to add photos of obituaries to many of my relatives' memorials. This thoughtful act touched me. I have decided that to repay their kindness - I tried adding memorials for those found in online obituaries for the Arizona Republic, The East Valley Tribune, and the Apache Junction Gold Canyon News, but soon discovered that someone else was duplicating my entries! I then went to a nearby cemetery and took photos of some name plates and created memorials for them. I hope to continue to add memorials to this site.
If you are related to someone whose memorial I have created - I will be happy to transfer it to you - just let me know. If you find any error or omission in a memorial which I have entered, please contact me! Since I may only have had the obituary to go by, many times I do not have all of the information. If you have further information to add to a memorial, I will be happy to make changes.

If you don't mind, I would like to have the file transferred to me, since I am doing the genealogy of that family for my children.
Not sure what you need to have me do for this process. Let me know.

Claudia, I see that you posted the obituary and pictures for Melbourne Harrison in Mountain View Cemetery in East Mesa. I recently was at the cemetery because Mel was married to my ex-mother in-law when he passed away, and she passed away in 2012 and was buried next to him and now they have the death date on the headstone and I would like to add the new picture with Gladys' death date. Let me know how you want the picture sent and you can delete the picture you posted and add the new one.

Hi Claudia - Thank you for the information about Richard Martin Johnson. If you're connected to him, I'd be glad to transfer his memorial to you. My wife and I are not related to him.

Thanks for the additional information.
Next time, please use the edit key on the memorial located at the upper right of the memorial to request updates. It makes it a little easier to process.

I transfer memorials based on Find A Grave specifications of direct lineage within 4 generations.
However, all information you want added to the two memorials you are interested in, will be added. Just go to the edit button on each memorial and send the information to be added.

You left a flower on Lois' memorial with some genealogical information included. (Memorial #71051006) Did you know Lois and/or was she related to you?

Thank you so much for updating his memorial - I'm not too surprised that he is at Calverton National Cemetery - quite a few Seabees are there from the 58th Naval Construction Battalion - most of them were born on East Coast and trained in Rhode Island in 1943. My dad was in the 58th Seabees - I'm proud of them all...Judi
