I'm mostly involved in loading memorials and pictures for members of my family tree. In the process of working family, I'll get involved with memorials and add pictures of people who are close to my tree or who's grave site is physically close to a member of my tree. I tell people that I have genealogical attention deficit disorder. Once I get on a roll with some family lines, I keep going until I find the whole family.|
I'm liberal in transferring memorials. I'm happy to transfer memorials when the person is a family member of yours and not a family member of mine.
I retired in 2013 and now spend entirely too much time pursuing genealogy.
Happy Ancestor Hunting!!

When you replied to my earlier message I interpreted it to mean that you were not interested in any documents because you were too distantly related. However, its been pointed out to me that might not be the case and that I wasn't clear enough in my message. If I did misinterpret you please leave me a message saying so.
I guess I should also mention that one of the documents I have is a copy of the marriage record of Edwin Shakespeare and Sarah Alker and I can email a copy to you if you don't already have one.

Thank you for approving the correction.

|Steve||Mary Ann (Barnes) Alker|
I'm a descendant of Mary Ann's aunt and the birth date listed on her memorial is inaccurate. Mary married Edward A. Alker on 19 Feb. 1862 at Emory Methodist Episcopal Church in Philadelphia. If she had been born on 25 July 1850 that would make her 11 years old at the wedding. I don't know why the death certificate age is 10 years off. Mary was born in July 1840 in Preston, Lancashire, England to John Taylor Barnes and Ellen Eaves.
I have documentation to prove all the above claims including a copy of the church record of the Alkers' marriage. If you're interested in receiving copies of it, leave a message on my page and I will email what I have to you.

I appreciate that you updated Ellen Foley's memorial with the correct year of death. I recently obtained a copy of her Wisconsin death certificate, and it is further evidence that the date on her headstone should be 1905. Thank you!

|John Waugh||Furlong granddaughter|
Richard, curious as to whether you had no response from Dawn, or she declined to take management of the the three memorials in question? I'm happy to accept management responsibility just curious. Thanks, John
|John Waugh||RE: Alice Waugh Furlong|
Richard is the granddaughter you are speaking of Dawn? Is she on Findagrave? I have had genealogy contact with her off and on. If she wants to manage them that's great, if not, let me know. Thanks!
|Richard Wright||Alvah Lynam|
We must have been working on Alvah's obit at the same time. I've deleted my memorial.
|Leslie Filemyr||RE: William Henry Hatfield|
If he's a close relative you can order one for him, I think. I ordered one for my great grandfather about 25 years ago (Civil War), and another for my dad about 15 years ago.
