Bio

I am a true believer in the fact that everyone should know about their Family History. I have been doing Family Genealogy for almost 30 years & I never get tired of it.

My Grandmother, Mollie Napier Osborne got me interested in Genealogy when I was younger by telling all kinds of stories about her & Grandpa Andrew Osborne's families. I just wish I could have learned alot more from her & documented more that I did.

I also loved talking to my Grandmother Alvie Carter O'Neal and listening to her stories about her & Grandpa Tollie O'Neal & their families. How hard they had it growing up & raising their families during hard times.

I loved taking both of my grandmothers out shopping at the same time, Granny Mollie had a bad leg & couldn't get around good while Granny Alvie had cataracts so bad she couldn't see good. I cherish the times I spend & have spent with my loving family & I thank God for all of my family.

I love visiting cemeteries & gathering info & taking photos to document these graves. I try to get my grandchildren interested in this also. My grand daughter really enjoys looking at the tombstones & listening to the stories about our family. But my grandsons just aren't into that (as they say), but maybe one day....

I have written a Family Tree Book for my grandchildren & other family members so they with the help of their parents, can start documenting their ancestry. This book is entitled MYSTORY & it takes them back 4 generations. It has room to put info, photo's & other items pertaining to the family.

I did it out of love for my Family in hopes they would want to learn about their Heritage, because that is a part of them & is what helps to make me the person I am.
