|Kelly Brown||RE: Galvin Headstone Photo|
I was able to get out to the cemetery today. It is a typical church cemetery. Looks like they cut the area, but nothing else. I suspect the family members, if they are in the area, are who really keeps their areas looking good. I did find something interesting. Next to Daniels marker is one for Mildred. However, there is not a death date on this marker. Then in the front of the cemetery is another marker for her with both dates on it. I will post the second marker on Find A Grave. I wonder where she really is? Daniels marker and the one of Mildred next to him is under a tree whose roots have moved the markers up out of the ground slightly. I have a call into the church, if they return my call, I will see if they can tell where Mildred really is. Kelly
You may use the photo, pls credit...Used with permission of Hillsborough FLGenWeb Project. As I mentioned I did not go to this location yet, but when I do, I will let you know how the cemetery looks. :)

I placed a picture that I was able to locate from a survey done at that cemetery. When I get to that cemetery for another request, if I can get a closer picture then I will replace the one I placed today. Kelly

Do you know anything of the Reverend's pastoral history?

You're very welcome, of course. I sorry the stone didn't have some legible markings. It is my understanding that his stone is of the oldest in the cemetery..

Well, it is so sweet of you to say so! If the goose droppings bother you, I can go back in the summer and try to get pictures without them. But it is a fact of life in Morris Hill Cemetery; their goose flock numbers many hundreds, and they rotate around visiting everyone. The pictures yesterday show the place as it really is ....

Hello, I have Joseph Greenberry Adamson's birth date as May 4, 1831. I took that from my great-grandfather's (Augustus Pitt Adamson) book. Joseph Greenberry Adamson's grandparents, Greenberry Adamson and Sarah Coates Adamson, were my 3rd great-grandparents. Jan Adamson

Checked with the cemetery office this morning and this is what I learned.. Winifred Perry Cecil is listed as Mrs. William G. Cecil. It showed that the plots were bought by G.W. Cecil but that could also be W.G. Cecil. They didn't have any idea on who W. Ann Cecil is. The baby is in the same plot at William and Winifred. I was thinking maybe a grandchild, not sure tho. Anyways I hope this helps in your research if there is anything else I can help with I would be glad to try.
