VERY SAD THAT SOME PEOPLE WHO ARE CREMATED WON'T HAVE A MEMORIAL|
Please don't ask to post "Nicknames", as some names are long enough. The only exception is if the obit doesn't mention the nick name.
I'm sorry if I am offending people because I'm posting "Unknown" cemeteries, but a lot of these memorials would go un-posted.
Posting "Unknown" cemeteries will at least help future generation to locate where the person's area of death.
I will transfer any memorial I have, only ask for the memorial if you plan to add extra information.
I live in Irving, Texas, and I'm doing research on the following surnames. Estrick, Eastright, Estright, McLardy/MacLardy, McCall, Williams and Carter. I'm looking for several graves in Texas, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Mississippi. Will travel in a 50 mile radius for you. Please let me know if I've enter some wrong information.If you would like to add some information or have me transfer anyone, that is your family, just follow F.A.G. procedures. Thank you.
"If you are a family member or friend who would like the listing transferred to you please use the edit tab on a memorial to leave me a message. I will respond to you as fast as I can, sometimes I'm away from the computers for over a week.
"I'm really not picky about who I transfer a memorial to since I am not related to most of the people in the memorials I have added. I don't really follow the rules for transfers on Find A Grave and would much rather see someone who knew the person maintain the memorial".

|MrsB||Thanks for your work--please don't delete earlier memorials|
Hi, Warren, I saw your comment to another FindaGrave volunteer that you had deleted your (earlier) memorial. Please don't delete earlier ones--if the later person won't delete, you can ask FindaGrave to merge memorials--they will (it takes them a few weeks) but that way all flowers and links trail along, and the earlier manager is generally the one that remains. If the later one did a LOT of work, Find generally gives them credit (I know this because cemeteries were merged, and a great-aunt of mine had two memorials--mine had all the family data and stories, etc, but since mine was added later, they just gave me credit, which is okay). If the later one has the actual cemetery--sometimes inurnments take place years after the person passes away--I would make sure to change the cemetery from Unknown to the correct one.

Thanks for sending the obit information, however I do not add survivors to my memorials. FindaGrave discourages this and I agree.
I read your bio and people who are cremated can indeed have memorials...my parents do and many, many others on Find A Grave.
Have a great week. Happy hunting.
thank you for all you do!
