Bio

My name is Pat Skiles Robinson. I am continuing
the research that my Grandfather (Arthur Franklin
Skiles, Sr), my Father (Arthur Frank Skiles, Jr)
and his cousin EllaJay "Nana" (Darbro) Willhoite started in the late 1950's.

Our SKILES ancestors farmed in the Dallasburg, Owen County, KY area throughout the 1800's. By the 1900's, our family had spread to FL, IA, IN, IL, OH, OR, VA and the Philippines.

My Mother's family (the Stevenson, Gonzales and Libunao Line) had its origins in IL, UT and the Philippines.

Wars have played a significant role in the history of my family. My Grandfathers came to the Islands in the Spanish-American War, and my family re-patriated to the US toward the end of WW II where we settled in Southern CA.

I am also researching my husband's ancestors (Robinson, Fincke, Ross, and Ochse Families), who came from England and Germany and settled in Allegheny County, PA.

I am very grateful to the many people who have so graciously shared their research with me, and I'm pleased to work with other researchers of my SKILES and related families. I can be reached at [email protected]. Please type FindaGrave in the Subject Box.
