I have done genealogy since 1974 in search of my grandfather George Walter Patterson (who I still can't find).|
My wife, Cathy Kessinger, and I enjoy adding to Find-A-Grave as pay-back for the help it has given us in our family history.
If I have listed any of your family I will happy to remove or transger my listing so you can have the listing for yourself. Just send me an email.

|AvidGen||Port Chalmers Headstones|
I have added a few more of your family headstones to your memorials. I took a good number of photographs last time I was in the PC Cemetery as there are many of my husbands family there and a few of mine.
Yours, so far, do not connect in with our families, but I did investigate the one with the DRIVER maiden name as that was one of hubbies family names but it turned out to be from the 'other' Driver family that lived in the Port. That has been looked at by contact with a living member and the two Driver families are not connected.
Hope you do not mind me adding the extra photos, but as I had them I thought why not.

Hello Steve. I was just passing through and noticed that you're still having trouble finding your grandpa. Can you email me his info (or leave it on my member page) and I'll try and help you.

My father, William Andrew Phipps (Lemuel "Lum" Phipps is his father and my grandfather), passed away on February 6, 2016 and is buried in Sarcoxie Cemetery.
|Shirley Cooper Moss||Esther Phipps Simmons|
Steve, this is Shirley Moss. Was Looking at her Find A Grave at Trimble. My sister and I went to see her son Richard Simmons, sister in law. She was the only one living that would know. She said that Richard Simmons took his wife to bury him beside his mother and he is buried at Gum Springs in Cedar County, between Stockton and Arcola. Anderson and Caroline Simmons is in the row and there is a field stone beside Richard. There is records that Merritt owned land in that area and Esther family lives very near there. Her family is buried at Gum Springs and Liberty Cemeteries, within a few miles of each other. Richard's wife married 7 times after his death and is buried at Hickory Grove at Arcola.

Thank you very much, Steve, for the transfer.
|Cynthia Brown||Memorial# 69534756 Isaac Hersey|
Hello Steve, Here is the birth date for this Isaac who died in 1793. It is from the Mayflower Births and Deaths Books Vol 1 & 2. Perhaps you would add it to his FindAGrave page. As there are at least 3 Isaacs in a line, it might be helpful to have these dates secured. Thank you so much for your consideration and tremendous work in records and cemeteries. Cynthia Brown
Name: Isaac Hersey
Birth Date: 30 May 1777
Death Date: 5 Dec 1793
Father: Isaac Hersey
|Tami||Dale Trim and family|
I have added a family picture to your memorial for Roy Dale Trim, son of Clarence and Nona. Hope this is okay, and if not, please let me know and I will gladly remove the picture.
I also added some on the memorial for Clarence and Nona, and some of the other family members. My folks visited with their cousins Dale and Betty in Woodrow, and I wish I had been able to go on those trips and meet them too. Very special people according to the stories my folks shared. Betty wrote me often and we exchanged much family information.
Cheers from Washington-
