Abbie Catherine "Cathy" Buchanan(1951 - 2010)
.
Abbie Catherine "Cathy" Buchanan, 59, of Jacksonville, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 12, 1951, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Robert and Catherine Fernandes Ward. She married Gary W. Buchanan on Oct. 24, 1970, in Jacksonville, and he survives.
Cathy is also survived by two daughters, Abbie Buchanan of Jacksonville and Jennifer (husband, Chris) Hart of Manchester; two grandchildren, Jacob Hart and Cassidy Buchanan; and her parents, Robert and Catherine Ward, and two brothers, Tony (companion, Sharon Dobson) Ward and Brian (wife, Laura) Ward, all of Jacksonville. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Cathy had been employed at County Market, and previously Harmon Foods and Carole Jean IGA, since high school. She quit working in order to care for her grandchildren and great-nephew. Cathy was a 1969 graduate of Jacksonville High School and a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She loved working outside and gardening, baking, cooking, singing, reading and canning. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and cherished their time together.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at Williamson Funeral Home, with burial at East Cemetery in Jacksonville. Friends may call after 1 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home, where the family will meet friends from 5-8 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Abbie Catherine Buchanan Memorial Fund, which is being established to benefit Cathy's grandchildren. Condolences may be left to the family online at www.airsman-hires.com.

Subject: Find A Grave Correction: Eva Cox

Greetings,

Find A Grave contributor Glendora has made a suggestion to you regarding your Find A Grave memorial for Eva Cox.
Link to memorial: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=174801776
Link to contributor profile: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=mr&MRid=46931045

Their suggestion:
-------------------------
In case you didn't know, Burial Unknown is for RECENT deaths. It states in the Help section where the Guidelines are that "Location of body unknown must be used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known."

Also, with regard to what belongs in the photo section, it specifically states that "No screenshots from other websites" are allowed.

Thanks and Happy Graving!

The marriage record was sent to assist you in recording Ida's first marriage and the reason some of her children have the Yoder surname. If you require more will be glad to help; or you may want to check ancestry.com for marriage records.

RE: Find A Grave Correction: Harold Ehlers
I have been working on that, which I already told you. Thanks.

RE: Find A Grave Correction: Harold Ehlers
Instead of making new memorials for living spouses, maybe you should go through your older memorials and make sure they adhere to the guidelines.... like no weblinks and no special characters in the names.

Not at this time, but will be working with my cousin, their granddaughter, on the tree as an ongoing effort to add to it. Thank you!
