I am 46 years old and have 3 children. Family history has always interested me. Find A Grave is a great way to help others learn more about their own family's past.|
Your tombstone stands among the rest;
neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
on polished, marbled stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I'd exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
in flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
one hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
and come to visit you.

Thank you for looking for my brother's grave marker. I have found out from his daughter there is none at this time. Thank you for the effort you put into this wonderful volunteer work.

Thanks ever so much for fulfilling my photo requests and for adding the additional family members. Would you consider allowing me to use your photos in my personal family tree?
I really appreciate your volunteering as I live in Florida and would have no way of getting them myself.

Thank you for all the work you did for these memorials...great timing ... I was just working on their profiles in my tree! Kindest regards, Colleen

Thanks so much for trying, Judy. Perhaps they never got a stone.

Thank you very very much for taking the time and the photo for me
These men are fallen but will never be forgotten
Hello Judy.. you posted a picture to memorial #31976547 for Bridget Agen. I posted a memorial for Tom Battles # 63538407 he was one of the burials also moved. Except he appears to have been moved to Holy Seplechre. Would you consider posting the same picture you have for Bridget to Tom's memorial.
Thank you so much.

Paige and I just thought we'd let you know about a photo request at Mt Hope for a Bridget Agan (d. 1844) who is actually a St Patrick's burial. I vaguely recall seeing a message that you had left for someone a few weeks ago where you mentioned that you have a picture of the place in Holy Sepulchre where those folks ended up being removed to; so we thought you might be interested in fulfilling this request. (We've been focused solely on Mt Hope, so we know nothing about Holy Sepulchre and the other cemeteries around here!)
