Hi there I live in Kilmarnock on the west coast of Scotland. It's where the world famous Johnnie Walker Whisky comes from, and It's also near the town of Ayr. A famous son of Ayr was Rabbie Burns and he is Scotland's National Bard. A poet of world renown and perhaps most famous for his work "Auld Lang Syne". Which is sang the world over each New Year's Eve.
Should auld acquaintance be forgot, And never brought to mind? Should auld acquaintance be forgot, And auld lang syne?
CHORUS: For auld lang syne, my dear, For auld lang syne, We'll tak a cup of kindness yet, For auld lang syne!
Like Rabbie, I enjoy a wee dram now and then. Be good tae yir Granny and Gae her plenty O' whisky.
Cheers from Bonnie Scotland And as auld Harry Lauder used to say. "Keep Right On To The End Of The Road"
