Bio

I was born in Akron Ohio. Growing up I was always interested in history and as years passed I became more interested in my Family Genealogy. Both of my Grandparents on my Dad's side are buried in Dayton Tennessee, specifically Buttram Cemetery along with other ancestors. Most of my research is on the Marler, Marlow, Marlor, Hughes, Janow and Gennoe side. I have been able to full-fill most of the information on my Mother's side of Melton and Beaver. When the 1940 census was available it made finding information easier. From the help of so many people on here and Ancestry.com I have been able to fill some of the missing puzzle pieces to my family history. I'm so fortunate to have found some friends on here who have helped me with a lot of information. I am on this site at least once a week plus Ancestry.com.
I retired from my Accounting profession in 2016. I enjoy spending time with my husband either traveling locally, out of town and walking on the metro trails that we have near our home. The joy of having Grandchildren is also a blessing and love spending time with them.
Most of the memorials I have added are related to me in some way, with the exception of several that are friends from high school, etc.
