Thank you so very much for the transfer. I have removed the obituary from the pictures and added her biography in. It is so appreciated.

I just want to thank you for the special virtual cemetery created to my fellow beetdiggers who died in that terrible accident. It was before I was born, but I heard so much about it from my siblings and my parents. Thank you for the tribute to them.

Sorry, I just realized that you already have the memorial transferred to you.

No I am not related. If you would like the memorial, I would be happy to transfer to you.

Ach, while ill this summer, I used the time to try to get a handle on my family genealogy again. I do not have a copy of what I wrote you (wish Find A Grave had a cc function), but believe it had to do with the offspring of Nancy Jane (Freeman)and Thomas Nichols, including my grandmother Mary Jane (Hall) Nichols.
You asked for verification. I hope the US Census records of 1910 and 1920 are adequate to establish their children, including at least one adopted, Fay. I have to admit surprise: I was not aware of Allen Webster, and think he was likely a foster child rather than formally adopted, as I've never heard him mentioned. Mary Jane, Minnie, Edward, and Fay appear in a family photograph I have. Adeline was their natural child, but often did not live at home. This is a private matter.
Sorry I don't have links to the images: I can't afford ancestry.com. If you also don't, and require seeing the census sheets, I can email digital copies if you provide me an email.
Federal Census, 1910, Utah, Salt Lake County, Riverton Election District 74. Utah Enumeration District #11, Sheet 9A.
Line 24: Nichols, Thomas, Head, age 42
Line 25: ------- Nancy J., Wife, age 41
Line 26: ------- Mary J., daughter, age 18
Line 27: ------- Minnie A, daughter, age 16
Line 28: ------- Edward H., son, age 13
US Federal Census, 1920, Utah, Salt Lake County, Riverton District #9, Supervisor's District #2, Enumeration District # 58, Sheet #6B.
Line 74: Nichols, Thomas, Head, age 52
Line 75: --------. Nancy, wife, age 51
Line 76: --------, Adeline, daughter, age 25
Line 77: --------, Fay, adopted daughter, age 12
Line 78: Webster, Allen, adopted son, age 9
As I believe I mentioned, Mary Jane (Nichols) Hall was my grandmother, married to David Robert Hall. They lived most of their lives in McCammon, ID. I also have a documented time trail from them to me and a bunch of cousins.
