Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am 68 years old with a love for family research
that started about 12 years ago. I come from a family of 12 children and was #7 in line of birth plus the first girl born to my mother. There are only 9 of us living now, spread out in several states from one coast to the other. Find A Grave has been a true help to me in my research and anyone who downloads names, dates, photos, etc. are to be thanked for their kindness.

RE: Wileminia Murphy
I could take the stone photos, that would only lose 470,000 memorials for people who are looking. You do know that stones can be wrong too, don't you?

You are very welcome. I appreciate all the help I get and I thought you would too! Whenever I see some additional info somewhere, I always offer it if I am sure it is true.

Magdalene [Freed] Courtney
I have deleted my memorial. Thank you so much for your cooperation in working on my Courtney family! My mother was Leola Courtney who married Elden Hardwick. Both are buried in Walnut Hill Cemetery along with my Courtney grandparents & many other of my family lines. I'm the only one born & raised in California, still there.

Mary M Courtney 79494385
Mary is the daughter of J.H. Courtney aka James Hamilton Courtney & Magdalene [Freed] Courtney. In 1977 I visited the cemetery & wrote down all the names & dates of family from the stones which were in good shape then. Unfortunately, being newlyweds saving for a house, we couldn't afford the film & developing to take photos of the stones which I deeply regret! (J.H. can be easily misread as J.A., all it takes is a blemish on the stone to close the top of the H.)

Magdalene [Freed] Courtney
I just checked & discovered that you have Magdalene's memorial. Would you please transfer her to me, as I am her gg grandaughter & have all her information?

Thanks Julia!

Errors in marital links.
John A Courtney was only married to Mary Freed. Magdalene [Freed} Courtney (my gg grandmother) & Elizabeth Crotts were married to James Hamilton Courtney. Beside family records, my mother knew some of these people & I have courthouse records, marriages etc. also.
