Bio Photo I am 70 years old with a love for family research
that started about 12 years ago. I come from a family of 12 children and was #7 in line of birth plus the first girl born to my mother. There are only 9 of us living now, spread out in several states from one coast to the other. Find A Grave has been a true help to me in my research and anyone who downloads names, dates, photos, etc. are to be thanked for their kindness. The photo is of my mother with her first born, about 1937.

Not to upset or belittle anyone, but I WILL ONLY MAKE PERMANENT TRANSFERS WITHIN THE GUIDELINES OF FINDAGRAVE.COM that being 4 GENERATIONS: Spouses, Parents, Brothers and Sisters, Children, Grand-children, Grandparents, and Great-grandparents. Please use the "EDIT" tab to ask for EACH transfer. PLEASE STATE YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO THE DECEASED and your member id#, without these, your request will be deleted.

Find A Grave Memorial# 77713122
Good Morning Julia!
Other than your entry of his full name, I was not able to discover any other information as to John W. Potter's middle name. Wanted to pass along something I discovered reference this memorial. My great-great grandfather, Bartholomew Potter was the brother of Stephen Potter. He had a son, John Wesley Potter as listed on the marriage certificate of Clyde Henry Potter, John's son. This was found using Family Search and Ancestry.Com. Thanks so much for all your hard work and plan to visit this cemetery in the very near future. Would love to hear back from you and have a very blessed day!
Warmest Regards,
Chris Potter

RE: Andrew Vest
Dear Julia, No problem. What are we doing up so late on Find-A-Grave? I guess, I just love this mystery solving, mystery creating process. Best regards again and thanks. Lily

RE: Andrew Vest
Dear Julia, I sent the edits to match up the Andrew Vest original to the duplicate, and it is done now except for a couple of children--which of course are done on their memorials. NOW, here's a new ?--The original was created by a Fallen Graver and is now in the hands of Find-A-Grave. Instead of your deleting, do you want to petition edit-at-find-a-grave for a merge, with you retaining ownership? If you keep ownership, at least there would be a real person to field questions and make (suggest any other) corrections. That could never happen if it goes to Find-A-Grave. What do you think? Lily

Andrew Vest
Dear Julia, I so understand how this can happen, but would you please delete your memorial for Andrew Vest (memorial#74457915) as it is a duplicate of Pvt. Andrew Jackson Vest. The original was created 6 years before yours. I want to add links to one of his children. After you have deleted I will send edits to relink his wife to the original. Thanks so much and Happy New Year. Lily

RE: Harlan Worley
I found a marriage record for him and Happie. It listed his parents on it. I do not know where they are laid to rest. I did however find the other Harlan Worley who was buried in the same cemetery as the other set of parents.
On the marriage record it appears that Happie was married to a Busscher before Harlan. I apologize, because Busscher is not her maiden name. It is Haines. The record states Harlan Worley, son of Adam Worley and Lillie Rice married Happie G. Busscher, daughter of Samuel Haines and Jeanette Tucker, on 14 Feb 1934 in Middletown, Vigo County, Indiana.

Parents of Harlan: Adam and Lillie Worley
Parents of Happie: Samuel and Jeanette Haines

Meaning Happie's full name is: Happie G. (Haines) Busscher Worley

RE: Harlan Worley
No problem. :) That is fine. The birth year and the name is similar. So I can understand the error. However, I did find the correct Harlan Worley. Thanks!

Manerva (Lamb) Luallen
Could you please check Walnut Hill cemetery index and see if Minerva (Lamb) Luallen (1862-1882) is buried there with some of her siblings? Thank you. :-)

There is an IN Death Cert. for Susie Moore born 2 Oct 1876, died 15 Oct 1965 Columbus, Bartholomew County, IN The headstone has death year of 1945.
The edit explaining this would not go through but I did send the birth and death dates as edits. Also added her parents.
