I am 67 years old with a love for family research|
that started about 12 years ago. I come from a family of 12 children and was #7 in line of birth plus the first girl born to my mother. There are only 9 of us living now, spread out in several states from one coast to the other. Find A Grave has been a true help to me in my research and anyone who downloads names, dates, photos, etc. are to be thanked for their kindness.

I am wondering if you live in the area and if so would you happen to know if Ezekiel York b. 1799 and his wife Mary Crosse York b. 1798 are buried in this cemetery? We last found them on the 1880 Census in Daviess County. In fact they have been in the county since 1830.

Hindostan Cemetery is not the cemetery at the Methodist Church on the hill. If you turn off Highway 550 to the right toward Hindostan Falls, there is a cemetery below the church on the first road to the right. It is called Hindostan Cemetery Lane. It has a few Shoults stones, but no Martin that I could find. I am related to him through his wife, my Great Great Grand Aunt.

It looks much better. The smaller one didn't show up or I would have deleted it. Thanks Julia.
Thank you so much for these transfers & for the pictures attached. Living in California it has been virtually impossible for me to get pictures for memorials. Your work is very much appreciated, Julia!

Would you please transfer the following Courtney memorials to me? They are my great grandparents & my grand aunts & I would like to fill in all the information & pictures I have. Thank you!

Thank you so much for adding this obit. I was a little hesitant about added it at all but thought family researchers could appreciate the info even thought it sounded like a tragic death. Thank again. Genia

You're welcome and thanks for letting me know you're using it. Not all contributors like to include them.

Yes, Richard is my 3rd cousin and lives in California. I'm in contact with him frequently, but he works long hours. Richard and his father, Clark Bauman, stopped at my house about 15 years ago and I prepared a good mid-western dinner for them. We had a great chat....Thanks for asking.
Take a look at pictures for the Stokes family that are buried in the Highland Cemetery in Vermillion County. Florence Stokes # 78525738 - died at 8 years old. Look at the picture of Lovina and then look at my mother - #52809529 - Helen Margaret (Stokes) Herrin. The third picture down, there is a resemble to Lovina....

Julia - That is about the fastest transfers that I have received.
I am a DAR member through John Fertig buried in the Brownback UCC Cemetery in Chester County, PA.
This past Memorial Weekend, I placed a current American flag at his burial site. The site is maintained by the church and has a DAR emblem for the 1776 flag to fly.
Are you connected to the Bauman/Fertig/or Stokes families?
