RE: verda mae moore
My Verda Mae Moore was the daughter of William Riley Moore and Ida Pearl Lentz. She did not marry someone named Tucker. She married Cecil Neely. Can I have the number to your memorial to check it out?

D. J.

Thank you for your offer of help here for I have had no luck. As you can see, Neal died some years before his parents and sister. My father remembers the funeral was in Atlanta at some church; he just does not remember the cemetery or church. He thought it was Westview because of the number of Millicans already buried there. The one other cemetery that I have checked is Magnolia Cemetery because that is where the very first child (born 1928) of the Bradleys (Clifford A. and Elsie) is buried; it only lived a day and was not named.

Neal's full name was Neal Everett Bradley (1936-1959). It was in December of 1959 when he died in Boston.

RE: bradley
Good morning D. J.---

Neal Bradley was on a graduate course of study at M. I. T. in Boston, when he caught pneumonia and died there in 1959. In talking with my father, he believes he was buried at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta, where many other Millicans are buried. I have not been able to find anything to verify nor get up to the cemetery to investigate.

Neal was the son of my father's paternal aunt.

Yes, both William 'Will' (#30566761) and his wife, Carrie,(#30566762) were buried at Mount Pisgah.
Will had a second wife but she wasn't the mother of John C. Fields. She was Pauline Helton Fields (#89182366) and she, too, is buried at Mount Pisgah.

Thank you for the additions.

I think the other tombstone your found is him with his first wife. The new one is him with his 2nd wife who he married in 1992. You might want to put a note on this memorial that even though he has a tombstone he shares with his 1st wife, he is buried with his second wife and refer to memorial # 160829076.

Thanks for adding this photo. This young lady was horribly murdered near where I've lived all my life. I was 13 at the time and have researched the old newspaper microfilms but sure was surprised to finally see a photo of her grave on this site. I've checked it from time to time for many years. Thanks again.
