|A. King||RE: MANY THANKS|
You're welcome! It is beautiful weather in Pulaski today. Mid 60s, feels like spring. So it was a perfect day to hike around Oakwood!
You have a wonderful Thanksgiving too.

|Bob Burton||RE: send me info|
This is all I have.
His full name was Henry H. Hinson (Hank)
His dad's name is the same.
Henry retired as the ranking Sgt. Major in the Army in 1968. He lived in Decatur Ga. after retiring. Then he and his first wife, Lois Hilley Hinson, moved to Peachtree City in the 1980's. Lois passed away, is buried where Ed says Henry is, but is not. He remarried, when he died, he wishes were to be buried with his parents in Chattanooga. I would say the time of his death is correct. As far as the location in Chattanooga, I remember crossing the Veteran's Bridge headed north across the river, then heading back toward 153 on the main road that takes you into Hixson. I have looked on Goggle Earth several times, cannot locate the place using it. Sorry I cannot be of anymore help. If and when I get back to the area, for my own peace of mind am going to go find it again. Right now I am nowhere near Tennessee, wish I were.

I used to live in Chattanooga. All I can remember about the location is you went across the Veterans Bridge, then back toward 153 and it was located between the two. I just cannot find online, or thru calling, anyone who can tell me the name of the place. There are over 150 burial sites in Hamilton County, some family only. I went through the list one by one and called and talked to several people.
He is buried next to his father, same name and his mother. Henry graduated from UT with a Law Degree, then was admitted to the bar in three states, but NEVER practiced the first day of law. Told his mother he had done what she wanted, he was going to do what he wanted, and joined the service, retired in 1968, came down with rheumotoid arthritis and was in a wheel chair within a year, and until his death. What a character. If you could help, would be so grateful to myself as well as Ed.

Can you give me your e-mail address?

Not to my knowledge! First names would help, I'm not sure where some of my relatives are...they are scattered as we got older.

I have removed the older photo for this site. Thank you for updating.

I just left you several edits for 92765936 & 92765848. The headstone is confusing because the two people are actually sisters, not husband and wife. Please contact me if you have any questions. I manage their parents and siblings memorials in Oconee Hill Cemetery and would be happy to clarify if needed. Thanks for uploading the photos!
