Grew up in northern Prince George's County, Maryland, and since retiring from NASA, found a new vocation... genealogy. It all began when my kids, at a family gathering, queried me about their pedigree and I realized how little I knew about my ancestors. I had some knowledge of my Mom's family, but knew virtually nothing about my Dad's. So the great quest began. Now I've become the "unofficial" family historian and spend way too much time glued to the computer and tramping around cemeteries.
