Rienzi Cemetery
Hi Janine,

You have added a few records to Rienzi Cemetery and I am interested in, Hester Ann Hargrove Ballard and Benjamin Flake. It appears you have added a number of records to this cemetery. I just wanted to check with you to see if you had possession of a cemetery transcription book and if so, have you added all the names documented?

Thanks, Erin

Colonial Funeral Home Records

You have been a life saver in research for not only me, but others. I hope people feel the same of me. Thanks for your help bunches and bunches. I am specifically looking for Shepherd William Lewis known as S W Lewis. Born 8 Mar 1838 in Alabama. Found on 1850 Harrison County census with siblings, father, and possibly his mother. Died in Poplarville, Pearl River County, Mississippi, and is buried in Ford's Creek Baptist Cemetery. Died 15 Jan 1922. Hoping to find a death certificate, but have not been able to do so. Hoping to find funeral home record or pictures of him as I have none. And, hoping if a death certificate can be obtained that his parents may be listed on it, and possibly where they lived. I am also looking for two other people being his son's (William Sidney "Bill" Lewis) wife's (Lydia Nola Golman Lewis) father and uncle. Lydia's father Henry B Golman born 1831 died Mar 1893 (Variations of last name being Goleman, Golemon, Galman, Golman, Goldman) died in Covington County, Mississippi or possibly Marion County. One of his sons is buried in Marion County being Charles D or Charley Goldman and daughter, my great grandmother Lydia, is buried in Ford's Creek Baptist Cemetery, Pearl River County. And, looking for records for Lydia's uncle Thomas Solomon Goldman Born 7 May 1835 in Raleigh, Smith County, Mississippi and died 24 Jun 1920 Hub, Marion County, Mississippi. Thomas Solomon Goldman married Mary Obedience Bilbo, daughter of George Washington Bilbo 1816-1860 and Prissiller Smith Bilbo 1818-1904. Mary's parents are buried in Juniper Grove Baptist Cemetery, Poplarville, Pearl River County, but I have no idea where she is buried at. Hopefully, she will be beside her husband Thomas Solomon Goldman. Mary was Thomas's second wife. His first wife was Nancy A Bryant Goldman. It is unknown where she is buried at too. Thomas Solomon Goldman was the son of Thomas Jefferson Goldman 1806-1888 and Lydia Lee Goldman 1814-1888. Hopefully, this is not too confusing. Let me know if I need to clarify anything.

RE: Columbia Colonial Funeral Home Register
i found it on google. Thanks. Visited there last week and saw Funeral Register. Thanks for all your hard work doing that. Are there any more records to be compiled from that Funeral Home or have you completed them all? Thought about visiting the Funeral Home, but did not want to waste a trip if you have already completed the register. I am looking for records from 1918-1925 for some specific people. I did find your books and looked through them, but did not find who I was looking for. So, I thought about visiting the Columbia Colonial Funeral Home. Just wondering if I would be wasting my time? I enjoy good genealogy research, but not wasted trips for sure. I would appreciate your comments. Thanks.

Columbia Colonial Funeral Home Register

Do you have a phone number for the Old Depot Building and what hours are they open? I would like to look at the oldest records there. Thanks. Andria
