Bio and Links
Bio Photo I try to update edits at least once a week, so please don't freak on me if I don't make a change in a day or two. I seldom respond back after an edit, because I would be on the computer all day.

I record what I can when I can because I believe in promoting access to free genealogy resources. If you find a mistake I will be happy to correct it.

Joseph Martin #35886886
Looks like you are busy, but when you get a chance I have a correction for you.

In the Long Grove Christian Church Cemetery in Scott County, IA, Memorial #35886886, Joseph Martin, it shows a birth date of 1818 and an unknown death date. There is a photo of the grave marker on the page, which reads:

JOSEPH MARTIN
DIED
Feb. 1, 1848

This date of death is difficult to read (kind of looks like 1818 but there is extra space which would make that second "1" a "4"), and 1848 is consistent with my research. He was born in about 1792. He married Cleora Graham (with whom he is buried) in Euclid, Cuyahoga, OH in 1818. Died at the age of 56. Laura and Jasper Martin, also in the Long Grove Cemetery, are two of their children.

Thank you!!
Sharon

This is the third request to transfer a family member to me.
Ella Marie McCall #35739241 and Joseph Harold McCall #35739240

Please could you transfer the memorials for Ella Marie McCall #35739241 and Joseph Harold McCall #35739240 to me.

They are my husband's grand-parents. I have already added some photos, but I have numerous changes to ad to personalise these memorials.

My contributor number is 48732989.

Thank you for all your hard work on this site and for creating these memorials.

Sarah "Salla" Antoinette Farner
Hi. Please tell me how you know the full name of #35331993 as Sarah "Salla" Antoinette Farner, since the grave marker says, Salla A. Farner. Did you get the name, Sarah Antoinette, from cemetery records? I ask because this may be an ancestor. I have not come across the name, Salla, until seeing it on Find a Grave. Knowing whether this is indeed an ancestor would help me immensely in my research. Thank you for giving your time for the benefit of others.

Respect your fellow gravehunters
I do not understand your over-reaction. As far as me "swiping" your photos. That's my uncle and I have many photos of him and his grave. Remember this is not about numbers or who posted what grave, it's about remembering the people who died. So anytime you want to get your ego out of your volunteer work, the easier it will be for grave hunters to work together. I found your comment not only rude, but uncalled for. Play nice. Incase we have the misfortune of having to work together again. And thank you for the work you have done. If I can ever help you let me know, but please use manners. We're adults now.

Martha Mae Hamlin 23161836
Her name at time of marriage was Martha Mae Curtis, but her maiden name was Daniels. They were married in California in 1920, and the marriage certificate says her father is W.C.Daniels and that she was divorced, and this was her 2nd marriage. If you need it, I can send a copy of the document.

Thanks for all your efforts.
I believe that Mabel A Warner is actually Mabel A Young, based on Iowa marriage records that indicate her father's surname was Young and her mother's surname was Warner.

Transfer of 65544987
Hello, asking again (nicely!) if this record can be transferred to me. I have quite a few links to make involving my great-grandmother's record and don't want to have to bombard you with changes. Thanks in advance!
