Bio and Links
Bio Photo Please use the edit tab when requesting updates to a memorial. Findagrave has improved the edit process by allowing you to request changes through the edit tab, which will automatically go into the fields as you have entered them. This speeds up the process and reduces the chance of error. I have found findagrave.com while doing geneology research. It has turned out to be one of the biggest assets in my research. I wanted to be able to give back and decided to become a findagrave member. After finding family my cousin Wayne and I have spent a great deal of time looking for our relatives gravestones. He is a part of the Birdtracker's team for all Arkansas entries and has been there at each photo shooting. Wayne is the provider of information on the Birdwell/Tucker side, most of whom have been buried in Boone County, Arkansas. At this time we are researching the Birdwell, Harding Rowlett, Milam/Milum, Robertson/Roberson/Robinson, and Cato, through the Birdwell line. Malbaff, Thrasher, Mosher, Hook, Wolfe, Gordon, Tucker, Baughman, Eoff, Darnell, Dudley, and Srader, families through the Malbaff line. Currently we are doing mostly family and friends, but hope to expand. Occasionally graves are photographed that are not family or friends. We believe that memorials should belong to family members whenever possible, as family have a personal interest in honoring their relatives and are better able to complete, maintain and improve memorials with additional details and research. We are more than willing to have family members "adopt" them provided they are not in our family or are friends. We do make an exception to this for persons who have been findagrave members for a very short time, and those who manage a significantly larger amount of memorials than they have contributed. A great number of our entries are family. Please feel free to use any photos which we have posted in your research work. Recently we have photographed headstones, which are not as clean as we would like, for informational purposes, only to find that contributors account is disabled so they cannot receive suggestions. Those photos have been posted for the information they provide.

Memorial Transfer and Thank you
Hello,
Thank you so much for transferring our family members to us. That means so much!
All of my dad's family are buried at Salem Cemetery. The only family member of my dad's that was not transferred was 73312961 Gladys Hammontree.
She is my grandmother Mary Ferguson's sister, my dad's mother's sister, who we were all very close to. Gladys babysat me when I was young. She is buried close to her mother Florence Ryan who you transferred to us. Gladys had a son Chester who helped me with my coin collecting and her son Eddie was deaf and worked as a print setter at the Kansas City Star. She also had a son Bob and daughter Mary Lou. Gladys first husband was Chester Rice with whom she had these four children. He was exposed to gas poisoning in WWI and died in the Veteran's home in Excelsior Springs. Gladys then married Howard Hammontree. She lived on Short Street close to Independence Square according to my dad. Thank you for your consideration of transferring Aunt Gladys to us.

RE: Memorial Transfers
Hello,
Thank you so much for transferring several of our family members. This means a great deal! I was so encouraged to read your Bio and to hear that you are willing to do this. "Occasionally graves are photographed that are not family or friends. We believe that memorials should belong to family members whenever possible, as family have a personal interest in honoring their relatives and are better able to complete, maintain and improve memorials with additional details and research. We are more than willing to have family members "adopt" them provided they are not in our family."
You will always be listed as the Creator, and we appreciate being able to manage your creations of our family. I have fond memories of their lives and details I would like to add about their lives as well as their deaths, as my parents and I were so close to these family members. My parents still live on our homesteaded family farm near the Salem Cemetery where all of these relatives have either lived or joined in family gatherings together.

To answer questions in your message and about how the others I requested are related:

For some reason I did not receive my dadís brothers Freddie Ferguson and Glen Keith Ferguson you mentioned including.

69939027 Freddie Ferguson
69939423 Glen Ferguson

I am sorry we are not related to Dean Ferguson.

Ada Ferguson, Hallie Ferguson, Nellie Ferguson, and Gertrude Ferguson are all sisters. Ada died young due to a snake bite. They are all my Grandpa Fred Fergusonís sisters/my dadís aunts. My parents and I were very close with the aunts and they lived on our family farm in the homesteaded house next to the home my parents built. I spent a great deal of time with my aunts growing up.

Gladys (Ryan) Hammontree (husband Howard), Fred Ryan, and Charles Ryan were my Grandma Mary Fergusonís sister/brothers and my dadís aunt/uncles. Dad was very close to his momís siblings as well and I remember aunt Gladys babysitting me when I was young.

69908480 Ada Ferguson
72701914 Gertrude Ferguson
72701801 Hallie Ferguson
72701710 Nellie Ferguson
73312961 Gladys Hammontree
79235972 Howard Hammontree
91617952 Charles Ryan
91618017 Fred Ryan

Thank you! Steve and Julie Ferguson
