I found findagrave.com while doing geneology research. It has turned out to be one of the biggest assets in my research. I wanted to be able to give back and decided to become a findagrave member.
At this time I am researching the Birdwell,Harding Rowlett, Milam/Milum, Robertson/Roberson/Robinson, Cato, Malbaff, Thrasher, Mosher, Hook, Wolfe, Gordon, Tucker, Baughman, Eoff, Darnell, Dudley, and Srader, families.
Currently I am doing mostly family and friends, but hope to expand. Occasionally I photograph graves that are not family or friends. Should you find a grave which is not pleasing to you, just let me know and I will gladly change or remove it.
I believe that memorials should belong to family members whenever possible, as family have a personal interest in honoring their relatives and are better able to complete, maintain and improve memorials with additional details and research. I am more than willing to have family members "adopt" them. I do make an exception to this for persons who have been findagrave members for a very short time, and those who manage a significantly larger amount of memorials than they have contributed.
Please feel free to use any photos I have posted in your research work.
Recently I have photographed headstones, which are not as clean as I would like, for informational purposes, only to find that contributors account is disabled so they cannot receive suggestions. I have posted those photos for the information they provide. Should you be a family member and wish for them to be removed or transferred to you, I will gladly do so.

What information do you have about Joseph H. Birdwell, born 1866 and died 1908? The family was on the 1880 Census in Scott Township, Taney County, Missouri. I'm looking for information about a "common law marriage" between Millie Blackwell of the same township and a man named Birdwell. There were 3-4 children born of this "marriage" which ended prior to 1900 as Millie remarried at that time. All the children went by "Blackwell" and as far as I know there was no contact with the Birdwell father. This makes sense if he died in 1908....Just grasping at straws here.....Thanks!

Thank you very much for creating this memorial and posting the pictures. Due to family breakup their granddaughters were unaware of where they were buried. They loved their grandparents and now their unanswered questioned will be answered and they can go pay their respect. Thank you for all of your time and effort.

Could you go to the above memorial and replace the headstone photo, if you have one for Velma? I sure would appreciate it. Thank you so much for your many contributions to Find A Grave!
