RE: Faulkner-Tutt Cemetery
Betty, Thanks for the information, I fould that cemetery last year and photographed the stones that I was interested in. I found it late in the day during a thunderstorm, I had to go back the next day for the pictures.

Do you have information concerning the Tutt Family?? Dr. William A. Tutt and his wife Sarah Stamper Tutt are my GGGrandparents. James B Stamper and one of his many wives, Tamar Tolson Stamper are my GGGGrandparents. I have some information but I am always looking for more.

Marvin Davis.

RE: Brown Cemetry
Thanks for the info. Of primary interest to me are Banks and Vancleve (with multiple spellings). I will check your photos periodically to see if you've found any new memorials of interest to me.

RE: Brown Cemetry
Hi, I'm afraid I don't know. I just found the burial location on the death certificate. We visited Kentucky a few years ago to look for cemeteries. What we discovered is Kentucky had no laws about burials, and individuals can be buried just about anywhere. Many are buried in "family" cemeteries, which may just be close to a house or on a local hillside. We were able to get a lot of information from the local libraries. You might try contacting the Wolfe County Library http://wolfecountypubliclibrary.org/
Also, I Just found this record. Possibly the correct cemetery location: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~kywolfe/Cemeteries/browncem.txt

RE: Miller Cemetery
Hi Betty, I live on the west coast and have no idea how to get to the cemetery. Google it and see if a map shows up.

RE: Charlene Bowen Wells
I looked at some of the memorials in Brown cemetery. I know that Rich Kreiss who has most of the listing in Brown Cemetery is from and lived in PA., he nor his parents are grandparents, gr grandparents have never lived in KY., and I'm sure none have visited KY. You will find this on many of the memorials on find a grave

God Bless

RE: Charlene Bowen Wells
Betty, That is great you have the name of the funeral home. I looked last night to see if I had an old Menifee Co., phone book, but never found one. I live in another state and although I have lots of family in and around Wolfe Co., I don't know the cemeteries. I've visited the Lawson Cemetery and the Little/Sorrell, plus a few others in Wolfe but no Brown cemetery.

Most memorial on Find A Grave are entered by people who never set foot in the state of KY., Many their parents were never in Wolfe Co.

God Bless

RE: Charlene Bowen Wells
I'm sorry I do not know where Brown Cemetery is located in Wolfe Co. I got Charlene' obit and picture from a funeral home.

May I suggest you look up her husband or one of her brothers and give them a call. I've done this sometimes when I was having a hard time finding a cemetery. Or I would call the funeral home, but since I did not list the name of the funeral home I don't remember the name now

Sorry I cannot be of more help.

God Bless
