RE: Ledford Cemetery
Yes it took me and my Dad a couple hours to find it. It is not hard to get to but yes the directions are quite vague. Odd thing is after driving around for a couple hours it was right there next tot he road. I will talk to my Dad and I will email you some better directions.

RE: Leroy Wood
Thank you so much for your diligence. I have another person telling me that he isn't buried where I have him, but didn't want to delete it until I was sure that there was a memorial for him.
Thank you so much, Dawna.

Leroy Wood
Thank you so much Betty. I was told that Leroy Wood wasn't buried in Maypearl and was going to delete the memorial, but no one knew where he was buried.
Now that I know he has a memorial somewhere, I will gladly delete it off.
Again, thank you so much. Dawna.

RE: George Small
Hi Betty,
Glad to hear from you. I'm not sure how or who named the cemetery "Small". It had that name in the Marsh Book of Lincoln County Burials when it was first generated back in the 1970s. The Marsh Book got names that were in common usage in that time period or documented in other sources. The cemetery is south of Belleville and short distance west of US 231 up on rise of a small hill. I believe it is adjacent to an old road, no longer in use, that went over the ridge to the Howell area. The location shown on Find A Grave is accurate because I put the GPS coordinates on myself. Re the stones, my memory is that they were on top of the ground so we had to roll some over and clean them. I don't believe we had to excavate any at this cemetery. There also were 20 or so field stone markers.

RE: Spencer Cemetery
Hi Betty,
Flossie (my aunt) is buried in the Spencer Cemetery on Tar Ridge in Rogers. My Spencer GG- Grandpa Granville Henderson Spencer is pretty much the eldest Spencer laid to rest there that I can recall.
Take care,

Brown Cemetery
Could you tell me exactly where this cemetery is located? What road it is on? I would be coming from Lexington.
Thank you

RE: Campton Burial grounds.
That would be fine. Send me the names and I will transfer them.

RE: Campton Burial grounds.
I usually don't split cemeteries. If the graves are together, just on the other side of the fence, I assume that it is just an addition.

RE: Glenna Hauk
When I blow the picture up, I can definitely see Aug 5 for his birth (supposed to be 1904) and I can definitely see Jan as the month for his death, it's supposed to be Jan. 20, 1983. You might be able to call the cemetery - I've never tried Greenwood. I can put the picture up if you want to add his burial - if you're not going to go take a much better picture!
