I have been involved in genealogy for almost 50 years. I was excited to find this web page. By posting memorials of those who have passed away,I hope it helps those who are unable to travel to the various cemeteries. Everyone of them has a story to tell, and no one should be forgotten. If I have listed a name which you want removed from this site or if you have a correction, please do not hesitate to contact me. Transfers are welcomed.|

|Beth Patterson||Lorenzo Ruggles Potter|
I am hunting for the parents of the above mentioned Potter, my 3 times Great Grandfather. He was born in July 30 1838 in Luzerne County, according to the 1840 Census...that is if I have the correct Lorenzo. He ended up marrying after the Civil War to Elizabeth Miranda Jeffries in Fayette county Illinois. I've not found anyone with the family name Ruggles in my search so far. I figure it's his Mother's surname. If you can point me in any direction I'd appreciate it. I have not yet ordered his Pension records but will do so soon. All I know for sure is he was born in Pennsylvania.
Beth Potter Patterson
Thank you very much for the transfer of his memorial.

I was hoping that someone would take a picture of the entire stone. Did you download that photo from Billion graves?! (that's probably not a good idea if you did) :-)

|Suzzy Thomas||Merle Allen Sheridan Cemetery|
Merle's daughter Diana works for me. We would like his birth date added if you would please. I would be happy to take over management of his page if you would like to transfer it. I am the clerk of the Sheridan Cemetery, so I'd be happy to take any of the Sheridan memorial pages that you would care to relinquish. Thanks!
|LBS||RE: Baby Wesley W. Pease in Laclede Cemetery #78295864|
Leslie, That would be great and thank you for the information. I have an old photo with what looks like A. Pease on the back, and I can't figure out who she is. Maybe it is not the letter "A." So many unidentified photos and I think many are in the Pease line. I will email you later. Thank a you very much. Loretta

|LBS||Baby Wesley W. Pease in Laclede Cemetery #78295864|
Dear Leslie, I received your edit to link baby Wesley to his parents, thank you. Since this is my family and he is in a cemetery that is very dear to me, can you tell me the primary source for the link to his parents? Is it the cemetery records? I'd like to make note in my family tree. Thank you very much! Loretta

Thank you for your suggestion regarding the Clyde Biggs memorials. There is not a duplicate. These are two separate memorials, one in Manila and one in California.

You are very welcome.

I'd like to meet the photographer of that pic one of these days. Do you know who took that picture?
Anyways any info would be great as to how to add somebody to a memorial as I have some to add to my great grandparents Arthur James Heide and JoHanna Bergman-Heide. They had more than one child that's listed. I'm now in possession of the original pictures you had posted of them. I think this is a great site too & Thanks for all you do to help people out!
In answer to my first question to you of the profile picture titled stand guard. It was taken by a Mr. Frank Glick who goes with my sister Jo Edwards-Johns. :-D very small world we live in ain't it! ;-) ;-)
