I have been involved in genealogy for almost 50 years. I was excited to find this web page. By posting memorials of those who have passed away,I hope it helps those who are unable to travel to the various cemeteries. Everyone of them has a story to tell, and no one should be forgotten. If I have listed a name which you want removed from this site or if you have a correction, please do not hesitate to contact me. Transfers are welcomed.
RE: Ferdinand Nielsen You're welcome. Thank you for understanding. I'm still working in the section that Ferdinand was buried in, perhaps I'll run across more of your relatives. There are still 40,000 graves that have no memorials in Fairhaven. Not sure how many I'll get done, it gets harder each year to walk the uneven grass areas. I note you been doing genealogy for 50 years, I've only been doing it 43 years--it's a wonderful hobby. Chris
Just wanted to let you know that I will be posting the information you gave me to the Phillips county gen web page in a little bit. You can access the web site thru the link on my profile page. Once there go to towns then Haxtun. Again thanks.
My name is Alie and I am the county coordinator for Phillips county GenWeb project. I also just photographed the headstones for the Edwards. The reason I am writing is I would like your permission to use the info you have for Kate Edwards on the web site. I knew that she had sold her property to the Lincoln Land Co. but I found you info more detailed. Please let me know.
Lorenzo Ruggles Potter I am hunting for the parents of the above mentioned Potter, my 3 times Great Grandfather. He was born in July 30 1838 in Luzerne County, according to the 1840 Census...that is if I have the correct Lorenzo. He ended up marrying after the Civil War to Elizabeth Miranda Jeffries in Fayette county Illinois. I've not found anyone with the family name Ruggles in my search so far. I figure it's his Mother's surname. If you can point me in any direction I'd appreciate it. I have not yet ordered his Pension records but will do so soon. All I know for sure is he was born in Pennsylvania. Thanks, Beth Potter Patterson
