Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi, I have been doing genealogy for over 35 years and have been a volunteer for Parker, Wise, Tarrant and Jack Counties of many years. I am working with the Springtown-Goshen Cemetery Association to make a registry of their cemetery. I am currently transcribing the Springtown and Goshen Cemeteries in Parker County with all photos from the cemetery. I also have photos from several other cemeteries in the Parker County area, Turner, Opal, and Central. I also have photos from Jack County and Wise.

RE: Forrester Transfer
How sweet of you to offer but, please don't inconvenience yourself ok? Also, may I ask where you are in Texas? I notice your last name is the same name as Parker County. Is there a family connection?

You're a sweet gal.

RE: Forrester Transfer
Well Helen I think what you do for families is priceless and I appreciate it very much. Sometimes even on Ancestry there is no link for a family member from Find A Grave. Plus, you can get so much information from the memorials especially with the ones that have pictures of grave markers with dates. Just like with James Madison Forrester, he was married 3 times. Aunt Mary was his 3rd wife and he had children from all his wives. The children listed on his memorial are from his 2nd wife. They are not Aunt Mary's children. Because there were pictures of the children's memorials I was able to figure this out by looking at the census reports I have on Ancestry. Also, the DOB and DOD on James Madison and Aunt Mary's grave markers enable me to correct the dates on my tree. So, you see, you are a very big help to us that are researching our past. God Bless you honey.

Mary Forrester # 38884454
Helen,
My name is Sandra Hughes and I'm working on my family tree. My contributor # 48451949. I came across my gg aunt's memorial. Mary is my gg grandfather's (Thomas Shannon Nash) sister. Their parents are Champion and Gabriella Nash from Hickman County, Tennessee. The Nash family is on my mother's side. Her maiden name is Nash.

Would you please consider transferring her and her husband to me if you are not directly related? Her husband is James Madison Forrester, memorial # 38884406.

If you are related and don't want to transfer here are my requested changes:

1) Please change Mary's name to Mary E NASH Forrester. If you look on her grave marker it says E not M.
2) Please put that she was born in Hickman County Tennessee
3) Please link her children to her memorial: George W Forrester #39067456, Andrew Jackson Forrester # 38922950, and Margaret Ellen Forrester Nix # 38881407. Her husband has the children on his memorial but they're not on Mary's.

I'm trying to compile as many of my family members together that I can. I have a tree on Ancestry and if you need more information please let me know.

Thank you,
Sandra Hughes in Tennessee

RE: Help
I was at Azleland memorial park. If you need help else where around here I can do anywhere in the surrounding areas. I have Friday's and Saturdays off and am trying to keep my self busy and I love genealogy and getting thing documented for future use. I looked at the listings and either I read it wrong but it looked as if Azleland had none scanned in and up loaded so I spent two hours out there taking pictures but found you had most of the ones I took. I added any close up shots I had taken. To the ones you had long shots from and could not make out the dates that good. I saw that another person also had added some So not sure why the site did not show any uploaded. I love walking around old cemeteries I think it is so important that this information be saved for future inquires. This web site has helped me out so much.

Help
Just wanted to know if you needed help with this cemetery or if you have finished it. I started it thinking no one had gotten any of this information, because of the other site link on this page looked as if 0% had been up loaded. I am starting this hobby and thought you might need some help.
