Hi, I have been doing genealogy for over 35 years and have been a volunteer for Parker, Wise, Tarrant and Jack Counties of many years. I am working with the Springtown-Goshen Cemetery Association to make a registry of their cemetery. I am currently transcribing the Springtown and Goshen Cemeteries in Parker County with all photos from the cemetery. I also have photos from several other cemeteries in the Parker County area, Turner, Opal, and Central. I also have photos from Jack County and Wise.|

I really appreciate you getting the picture for me.
It looks like it is marked
NB. ?? Rector
Born Aug 14 188
Died Feb 11 18
I think this headstone is for Myrtle Rector, 67270405, not Maggie. Maggie would be her mother, Nathan would be her father.
If you think this is for Myrtle would you mind moving the picture to her page, 67270405.
Do you know if anyone has records of the burials in Veal Station? Maggie should be there. She died after the 1920 Census. I couldn't find a death certificate for her or Nathan. He died 1926. They are both on the Parker County Cemeteries website. I think the birth date for Maggie is incorrect. She was born 1864.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much for taking a photo of Faydra's Cemetery marker. I really appreciate it. Carole Lee Alexander

I agree, I do not chalk the headstones, either. I meant by "etch", to hold a blank sheet of paper over the lettering and etch across the paper with a lead pencil. I have done this a time or two, and it works pretty good. - Best regardss, Mary

Helen, thank you so much for taking a picture of the headstone of F. M. Dukes in Graves Cemetery, Jack Co, TX. I;m sorry it was unreadable. Next time I go up to Jack County, I will try to "etch" the stone and possibly get the dates. Again, thank you - Mary, member #4714882

|Virginia Morgan||RE: Wigington of Lynn Creek|
My cousin told me that all the people in Lynn Creek were somehow related, there are a lot of them. And even though there are different spellings of the Wigington name they are related. There are lots of other last names and I know who probably 20 of them are. Virginia

Are you the person that asked about a possible connection to Wigingtons; I may be able to help you with this. My grandmother was a Wigington. Virginia
