My husband George and I were researching his great grandfather Columbus Ohio Terry on the web, when Find A grave appeared on the screen and showed Columbus Terry's headstone and the cemetery. We live about ten miles from the cemetery.Needless to say we were very happy and couldn't believe what we saw. Many, many thanks to the person that put him and his wife on FAG.We are trying to give back by doing cemetery photo request: Ancestors we are searching for George: Terry/Wheat/Linton/Dukes/Allison/Emerson/Campbell & Laymance> Ancesters we are searching for Esther: Eidson/Eitson/Dyke/Matthews/Maxfield/Lee/McCoy
Alfred Terry Hi, I notice you are the contributor of this grave. Alfred was my grandfather and I am in the process of updating all their children that are buried in Concord. Some have not yet posted and I understand that the contributor of that grave has to approve. We are related someway maybe 2 cousins once removed--I know that I ran across Columbus Ohio Terry in some genealogy data I found recently and found that a bit odd to name him after a city & state. Please e-mail me anytime TSL771@sbcglobal.net (Mary Sue Terry) Terri Lanier. I love in Rockwall, TX.
RE: Re: Stone for WmA-Mary Carter-Cook Sorry for the confusion. For so long there were no pix of the stones there in HSpgs cemetary, then there was the gate/entrance and several of the ones posted online. But, not of my kin. I have a cousin who's also doing geno from Florida, so maybe she requested the same photo. ~Thanks!
EMERSON Have quite a bit of information on Emerson as my father-in-law was Mitchell Clark Emerson and over the years have done research on this branch of the family. Sharon (Reno) Emerson email: email@example.com
Re: Stone for WmA-Mary Carter-Cook Thank you so much for adding this picture! Would you be a relative? Or perhaps related to the Terry's in Hughes Springs, TX? I believe Allison was the maiden name of one of their dtr in laws, Nevada, also.. the wife of their son, Dorris (rip/June 1959, buried in Breckinridge Tx.) I do appreciate your posting! Thanks, again.
