I am a grandmother of three and a mother of three. My job is with a volunteer agency that provides assistance to elderly and folks who can no longer drive here in our area. Northern Arizona's high desert is where I call home, about 120 miles north and a little west of Phoenix. I love doing our family genealogy and helping others do theirs. If I can help someone in my area, I'm happy to do so - it's time for me to pay it forward. Barbara
RE: James Beattie, #129753800 You would probably have to go through the Nebraska State Historical Society in Lincoln and ask them about what newspapers were in Hardy during that time frame. Hardy is in my county, but we don't have any of their newspapers available to us. Nebraska started birth and death records in 1905, but not all of them were registered. Our courthouse doesn't have birth or death records either. I am able to bring home the bound newspapers from Nelson and have found 4 obits for this cemetery...not good odds. The Superior Express, Superior, NE, which is 7 miles west of Hardy might have an obit. Sorry I can't give you any good news. Happy Hunting!!!
RE: James Beattie, #129753800 Mary is buried on the south side of the stone and James is buried on the north side of the stone. Almost all of the stones face west, but a couple. I have already sent edits to Roy to add the dates and other info I have. If you would like me to transfer James' memorial to you please go thru the edit tab on his memorial and just say "please transfer" with your ID #. No one should be forgotten!!! As I'm typing this Roy has already done Mary's info.
RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 17266328 Considering the burial date, I think you are absolutely correct! Three days from death to burial is about right in 1900, especially in winter. And since her father is there, it makes sense. Please send the obit, using the edit tab on the memorial (select 'other') and I will add it, along with any other info that you have. It is really nice to get her identified.

Hello Barbara The info came from a Genealogy book, as for the location of where this cemetery is located please contact the lady that took the photo I'm sure she would be able to tell you the exact location within the county.
I was adding people in the Summit Ridge Cemetery, in Dolores, Colorado. I have photos of the Malone family, Millard, Barbara, Larry, and Daisie Belle Malone stones. Wanted to get your permission before adding them. Thank you.
