RE: Rissie Belle Wagner Hill
I sent the same message to Karen so we'll see what she says. My 3x great-grandfather is Rissie's father's brother. So it is a distant relative. I have been working on my family genealogy and have just loved the information and pictures posted to this site. It lead me to a book that I was able to download, 'The Adam Waggoner Family in Tazewell and Montgomery Counties Virginia 1750-1996.' I have been going through that all morning. I am in Kansas but would love to go to a reunion as I am sure there will be Wagner's there as well. Plus I need to come that way at some point to do research. Thank you for your reply and info. I want to send you my email and if it is okay with you, may I contact you for family information? I promise not to pester you too much.

Barbara Presley Freeman
I'm James Louie Presley's son, John. My Grandpa, John Luther Presley, was Barbara Presley Freeman's younger brother. Do you have any information about their Mother, Nancy Harman Presley? Nancy was married to William Floyd Presley and Barbara and John were of that marriage. William Floyd married Josephine Gillespie and they had 16 children.

James Thomas Brown
Beverly I totally agree with you. I know nothing about West Virginia.
I was born in Tazewell County, Virginia; then in Maryland, now I live in McMinnville, TN.
I don't believe I have ever been in West Virginia.

I got into this searching for my family, and some of my nieces family info.

Would you email me a copy of James's memorial so I can share it with my niece?

It was nice connecting with you and we may do it again.

RE: James Thomas Brown
I had not heard of it before either, I just found that info I sent you through
The following I found through the find a grave..

Mercer County
West Virginia USA

Cemetery notes and/or description:
From Route 460 in Princeton, turn on Mt. Horeb Road, and go about 4 miles.
cemetery is on the right about 2 hundred feet from the road.

Belcher Cemetery
Also known as: Taylor Cemetery
Wind Mill Gap
Mercer County
West Virginia USA

Cemetery notes and/or description:
Located at Coaldale Mountain. Located on Windmill Gap Road turning right off
of Rte 52.

From Bramwell, take Route 52 north toward McDowell County. At Coaldale, turn
right on Wind Mill Gap Road. It's a gravel road, but it's in good
shape.Drive one mile, and at that point the road forks like a Y, turn right,
and you'll see a Belcher Cemetery sign.
Drive another half mile, and the cemetery is on the left beside the road.

I am confused also, the Belcher seems to be the one you had James
If I remember correctly they either combined the 2 or renamed it. The above
it what I found on the cemeteries, If I were you I would put the memorial
on it. It did have the directions to it if you want to go to it.
