I am a third generation funeral director in Greensburg, Indiana. I have done research on my family tree. I have placed all individuals in our funeral records dating back to 1886 on the find-a-grave website.|
I would like to thank Russell Wilhoit for all his efforts in recording the burials at South Park Cemetery up until 1924 on spreadsheet. I would also like to thank Greg Meyer for all his work in documenting burials in several cemeteries in Decatur County. I have used their information for many of the memorials in which I have placed on Find-a-grave.

I am new to Find a Grave. It looks like you have done a great job with several cemeteries in Decatur Co (and some nearby ones, I think).
Please transfer maintenance of my parents' memorials on Find a Grave to me:
Carl A. Hessler #37643346
Hilda K. Hessler #37643381
thanks so much,
Would you consider transferring Grandma's memorial over to me? I just want to add some of her deceased children from Shelbyville and California and you don't won't have to mess with it. Pretty please? LOL.
Keep up the good work!
I also have been thinking that Sandcreek Cemetery would be prettier with a fence around it. Maybe black iron. What do you think? I may talk to the powers that be if I can drum up some support.
Peace and Love,
|Melisa Shepard||South Park Cemetery|
I was wondering if you happen to have any other information on the Ray family that is buried in this cemetery. Specifically:
Nettie Jane #24380320
Everett L. Ray #42128137
Robert L. Ray #24380323
Thank you for any information that you may be able to help with.
|Joyce M. Jeffries||Thank you!|
Mike Porter, Thank you for all your Find A Grave Contributions, and most especially for adding obit details to Find A Grave Memorial# 173316092. Much Appreciated!
|NWpioneer||RE: Lydia Wiles|
Thanks Mike. I see you also put up the obit for her son Chris.
I placed her daughter L. Flowers in South Park Cemetery, but I am not really sure if that is right. Her obituary only says that she was brought home to Decatur county for burial. Do your records for South Park have her in it?

Thanks so much, Mike. I appreciate your help!
|Heather Gray||Mary Whitlow|
Hi, Mary (Polly) Byram Whitlow was my g g g g g grandmother. I am told she was Cherokee Indian. Do you know if this is true or have any cites? Thanks!
|Judith W. (Family Finder)||Margaret Oldfield|
Find A Grave sent me a message regarding my request for a photo of the memorial for Margaret Oldfield. Apparently she does not have a stone. I wonder if you would mind noting that on her memorial page? This would be helpful for anyone else who might request a photo.
I really appreciate your help!

|Richard Hedrick||Addie M. McCoy (1858 - 1928)|
In regards to:
Addie M. McCoy
Birth: Mar. 18, 1858
Death: Dec. 30, 1928
This Addie McCoy was the wife of Wilburn Monroe McCoy as you can see from the pic of the tomb stone. This particular Addie was Addie Gavin, daughter of James Gavin and Martha Tucker, not the listed Thomas McCoy and Sarah Hughes McCoy.
|Richard Hedrick||Eliza Tucker|
You list this Eliza Tucker as the daughter of W.H. Tucker.
Birth: Nov. 5, 1808
Death: Jan. 3, 1881
daughter of W.H. Tucker
This particular Eliza should actually be Eliza Kennedy, wife of W.H Tucker based upon the birth and death dates.
