I am a third generation funeral director in Greensburg, Indiana. I have done research on my family tree. I have placed all individuals in our funeral records dating back to 1886 on the find-a-grave website.|
I would like to thank Russell Wilhoit for all his efforts in recording the burials at South Park Cemetery up until 1924 on spreadsheet. I would also like to thank Greg Meyer for all his work in documenting burials in several cemeteries in Decatur County. I have used their information for many of the memorials in which I have placed on Find-a-grave.

I am confused & hope you can help! Regarding Jane McClatchey Freeman #50997282 who is buried at South Park. Looks like several members of her family are buried close together. Her stone shows her death date as 1833, but who seems to be her son George died in 1836 @ 3months. Could you please tell me the names & dates of what seems to be a line of stones of hers & James Freeman's family? Wish I was close enough to do it myself!

|Elaine McCracken Lane||Robert Amis Stevenson|
First, I would like to thank you for all the work you have done for Find A Grave.
I have been researching the McCracken Family in Indiana and without the information on Find A Grave this would have been impossible.
You added a Memorial Page at South Park Cemetery on the above named person. I believe his middle name is Annis. He was the son of Nellie J. Annis and Frank Wilkinson Stevenson. They have a marriage registration on FamilySearch.org, dated 1917. The spouse attached to Frank is incorrect. Dora Krew married a Frank W. Stevenson in 1903, BD: 1878; his father's name was William H. Stevenson, mother's name Sarah. Dora father: George W and mother's name Anna A. Morrison.
Robert Stevenson was in 1920 & 1930 census records with his grandmother Almah Elizabeth Hogg Fletcher.
My question is where did you get this name?
Thank you again, Elaine McCracken Lane

Know I've been keeping you busy and really appreciate all the work you do making the edits and adding the obits for our South Park "residents." That's what you get for adding so many records! Thanks, Mike.

Thank you Mike. Have a wonderful day!

Hope you don't mind the update on Nathan Bewley. If I have it correct I would be a 1st cousin 3x removed. Sarah Ann Chaille is a sister to my great grandmother Gertrude Mildred Chaille (Price). Becky

|Bob Lee||Buchanan sisters - twins|
Effie and Eva Buchanan are twin sisters, both married Lee men and all are buried in South Park Cemetery. Effie married Frank Lee and Eva married George Lee. You have Effie married to George Lee... would you please correct that.
