Hi David...I want to "Thank You" for the photos you have taken in the Newton Cemetery. We are assisting Sam Collins in making a map of the cemetery. Mrs. Bailes footmarker is covered with dirt, leaves, etc. and we did not know which Bailes was buried in that plot. I went to Find A Grave and there was your photo of Mrs. Bailes footmarker. I have sent your links of her parents and place of her birth and death. Also, will be going back to the cemetery on Friday and will attempt to locate the footmarker and clean it so it will be seen again. Again, many thanks for your interest in Newton Cemetery!!

Just to let you know that David has a headstone next to his parents at Fairview in Bronte. Whether or not his ashes are there or not, I can not tell you. I posted a photo of it for you. Sandra

You're quite welcome. I took a photo of Elbert Caudill's military marker as well but was unable to post because the 5 picture limit for unsponsored memorials has been reached. Let me know if you'd like me to send in an email or I can post it to his memorial (if you want to remove a picture to free up a slot).

Johnny Gann's page shows a picture of and lists the Lakeview Cemetery in Winters as his burial place. Therefore, I'm wondering if his page needs to be updated or changed before I add the photos taken at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Also, the date of birth is not given on the page, but does show on the shared Memorial Marker with Wilma as 1933. If you would like to check into these issues and still want the photos from Lawnhaven, you can let me know through Find A Grave Photo Request.

I welcome all information you are willing to share, but I prefer to maintain her page at this time. Thank you.
